I got Cyclonus/Galvatron and Dread-Wind. I'm planning on getting Power of the Primes Swoop, Moon-Racer and Jazz so I can combine them to make... A heckin' cool and good combiner.
The Galvatron combination is totally worth it, but narratively...I like the idea of "The Herald" as an attempt by Unicron to start a death-cult to him and aid his return. Dead End, Dread Wind, Black Wing, and Offroad will likely be the cult on my shelf. XD Maybe the odd Terrorcon joining too...
I'm just.....I don't.....it's Galvatron.....who's a big torso......and just......did he like miss arm and leg day and just do a gazillion hours on his chest and abs?
***** I know what you mean... But my biggest problem is that he lacks a cannon. I'm one of those who has a big issue when Megatron does not come with a huge fusion cannon. Megs needs an arm cannon! Similarly Galvatron is not complete without a huge (orange preferably) cannon. I would actually be alot more pleased if they retooled the leader class generations megatron into galvatron.
Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron corrects the orange cannon fail, and gives us a better story for limbs (pulling others from various timelines, such as IDW's Roller and 80's animated Ghost Starscream).
Congrats on completing your first CW combiner. I actually like the idea of some non-combiner robots getting combiner technology, I can't wait to see where they take that idea; I wonder if any of this will make its way into canon.
Just realized your perfect choice in song to play during the second transformation to torso mode! Almost as if this toy was made specifically for Merge for the Kill!
Hi Thew, I really enjoyed your review. I am a big Transformers fan and was so impressed when the first Generations transformer toys came out. They not only looked like the cartoon in bot vehicle and robot forms, but they transformed well and were pose able. Actually, I realized that both leader Megatrons have light-piping. Also, perhaps Galvatronus's limb-set would just be a collection of the new characters. Like Rook, Off Road, etc.
When you mentioned the Seekers' cockpit I looked at the head and thought,"Shit the whole thing could be repainted into Starscream with the crown from the old movie and repaint/mold the current jet-limbs into the other guys".

im on the same boat as you Thew, so far i finally manage to complete superion (thanx to amazon) but still missing 4 stunticons team ( i only have black jack and dragstrip). So far my loca stores as of yet has not brought any of the main combiners with the exception of CW Leader G1 megatron, CW leader Armada Megatron and legends hufffer (the new bumblebee if you know what i mean). Its nice and all but where the hell is the rest of the group??! and what do i get instead is ... A FUCKING SEA OF THE AOE TRANSFORMERS OF STEP CHANGERS AND THOSE TERRIBLE POWER ACTION.

I was thinking of swapping the Cyclonus head for a Galvaton head.It would make more sense a any rate .Personally i was Hopping they would do a Voyager hot rod that combines in to Rodamus Prime.But alas mighty Rodimus is just a BlackJack repaint.

I have to say I love this cyclonus; more than the deluxe - and yes before anyone freaks out I know I'm on an island. Too bad Barutazaru you don't have the other combiners - surprising considering the voyagers showed up in Britain first. If you end up reviewing Menasor I'd love to see someone review some of the fan modes. Everyone reviews the official transformation, which is obviously lackluster. Keep up the heavy consanants! Galvatronus also gives Ultra Prime a 'nemesis' to work with, given that Optimus is also short a combiner team and 'combines with anyone'... although presumably without the violation of the freedom of sentient beings.

IMO, the figure would have been better if Hasbro put a peg-hole (that sounds so wrong) on top of Cyclonus's Alt. mode to use Uni. Cycs Targetmaster.
