As a fan of the original TV series, I had real reservations about these movies. Let me state for the record that my reservations were unfounded. Dont buy that ambiguity, a pain that does not hurt is not a pain. And a pain that alters (don't know what it even means) is not a 'real' pain; or it still hurts (doesn't mean there are 2 types). Context is wrong but was meant to make it sound impressive but is not

Yep, I didn't get. Whether it is physical or not, if it does not 'hurt' then it is not a pain. Whether some pain alters you or does not alter you, that pain still hurts. There are no two kinds.

Not all pains hurt, some find pleasure in getting it from or giving it to, other
At least there are a multitude of its kind, not only 2
