"Suppose to do and will do are two different things"
"I guess anybody could but nobody does, and everyone ends up complaining about what nobody did what anybody could have done or should have done" truer words never spoken.
I love those lines. It inspired me to always try to do something.
Can say that something to those who's alwys above you
Miles is such a great kid, the movie does a great job of portraying the mentorship between McCall and miles and it's awesome haha. Really inspiring

Ashton Sanders saw Denzel on the red carpet and was trying to get Denzel's attention. Denzel walked past him at first BUT Denzel's wife saw Ashton and made Denzel go back. Ashton then told Denzel he was going to be working with him and Denzel smiled and said, "See you at work!" Love it ❤
"It takes talent to make money but it takes the brains to keep it" 💯
Facts
This is called giving somebody an opportunity. The craziest part of it is that all of it is a lesson that will change Miles' life for the better. This scene does a few things that makes it perfect.
1) Bob offers Miles an opportunity to make some money that doesn't involve endangering his life and makes use of the talents he is gifted with.
2) Bob teaches Miles that you should never leave a job to somebody else when everyone else is also just waiting for somebody else to do it. Taking initiative opens up more possibilities.
3) Bob says he will only pay him if he goes to school first. He needs to get his education to have opportunities in his future. Everyone wins.
4) Bob shows that sometimes you have to compromise on a price to ensure the money for that job goes to you. Miles comes back with a lower price to which Bob agrees to.
Excellent.
Yep! Good analysis.....and this is heartwarming great mentorship by mccall
"STAY OFF THEM CORNERS SON!" 💯
He fixes mindsets, sometimes on a systemic level, and that's what's cool about this as opposed to a cleanup job.
McCall played by Denzel is the coolest fixer ever.

This kid is a very talented actor. He has this natural convincing aura about him.
A great movie is a movie that has two or three movies playing within it. I love the way he disciples this young man and helps direct his life in the right direction. I also like the beginning of this clip when the guy looks at Mr McCall and says you better find out who did this and he looks at him like why don't you do something.
I personally saw it as Mac being a pillar of his community
Like his neighbor already knew him as a guy who could get things done
"stay off them corners son"..simple but u get it
This is the same kid who freaked out when he met Denzel Washington on the red carpet. Told Denzel he was gonna be doing a movie with him soon and he was not wrong🔥🔥
Denzel got them waves POPPIN! 🔥🔥😆😆
No he doesn't
Lookin like uncooked ramen noodles 🤣
The world needs more people like McCall when it comes to people in situations like this. A person who looks out for the youngin’s. A person who does/tries to keep them out of trouble instead of pushing them into it and or just stand idly by and do nothing.
A few moments later:
"Man ain't spelled g-u-n, son. You got a choice. You got talent. You got a chance, and I don't want to hear 'bout your environment, what your momma didn't give you and the white man won't give you no shot. You got a chance. Use it while you're still alive. You don't know what death is. You have no idea what death is. Make a decision."
Yeah this is a cute movie trope but not real life.
@@carltonbanks5470 ok??
@@carltonbanks5470 How is that not real life?
@@Reb0rnLP You are not going to walk into the den of some street gang, make threats, then walk out clean like nothing happened. Both he and that young man would have to vacate the city. And no black kid is as naive as the kid in this movie. Real life aint this Lean on Me movie bullshit.
@@Reb0rnLP Also if this kid has a real talent to paint, leaders of this gang would be giving him money and support. He wouldn't need this speech in the first place. This is why I hate these movies. Ignorant people watch it and really think this is how it goes down.
Denzel is my mentor, I try to aspire to live by his example. I stumble, a lot. But I get back up because of him. Thank you Mr. Washington.

I have never felt like this about an actor but Denzel is the absolutely perfect actor.
This is why it's so important for kids to have a good father in the home.
Let’s go Miles… LET’S GO MILES??!
Oh shit.. OHHH SHIT 😂😂
He would be a good hard dad for any of today's kids.
Or any time's kids for that matter. Decay and the 'loss of values' don't skip generations.
@@georgew.douche26yearsago65THIS... I agree
world needs more McCalls for all the Miles out there.
4:18 , those Police sirens, the weather and the chills omg ❤❤❤❤
Humanity need's you mr. McCall
After school.. This show us education is number one..
This shows how little it takes to make a difference in people's lives
Yup. This is how you help kids. I got close to kids by mentoring them. My best friend had a horse arena and I gave free dance class in our low income neighborhood. We kept the gangs out and loved "our" kids. I still have a few of them. Friend did, too untill she passed away.
Damn..😢
If in the real world we had mentors like Mr. McCall, today's youth would be saved.
I swear this man is the best actor in the world!!!😍😍😍 I bet he's the perfect father!
Forgetting that hes at the absolut top of the rotten hollywood elite
"stayoff them corners son"..
"See you at work" red carpet moment..❤❤ So very sweet and wholesome..Denzel is Amazing. Glad to see the young actor in the movie. He got his moment!!🎉
350 looks reasonable for that freaking giant wall tho
is only the graffiti part
It'S pretty much the fact that it's Denzel who's gonna pay but it's not his job to pay. It's not his building technically
I think he was just trying to show him that doing the right thing isn't always gonna have the results you initially wanted, not always gonna have a big payout.
If you enjoyed the equalizer you'd really appreciate "Man on fire." Which also has Denzel Washington, and the great Dakotah fanning. A beautiful allegory of absolution through retribution.
Good movie, but way over produced. The shaky cam, terrible editing, supersaturated colors, and so on...
@@Davethawave1999 Don't agree with you, I agree with Sto.
"Hey Mr. McCall, maybe you could find out who did this to Fatima's garden"

Denzel Washington is a terrific role model, his passion comes through in all the characters he plays.
Having a father in your life that's invisible is same as having one that is dead, his existence has no positive impact on your life. I wish i had a father like Denzil Washington or any other father figure family man, but circumstances change and not everything is butterflies and rainbows.
Sooner or later his gonna be SPIDER-MAN

McCall and Miles has great connection in Equalizer
Its very grounded movie brutal kills and lesson learned at the same time
Special Guy🙏🏽
Wow it's crazy how in the end that "McCall saves Miles and fights Dave on top of a tower before stabbing and slicing him, and then throwing him off the tower. McCall gets Miles home safely, and he returns to his old house that he shared with his late wife."
Wonder what the plot will be for Equalizer 3, which is supposed to come this September. I feel as if Miles will make a return into the movie for some purpose.
@@whitelampmrzI doubt McCall moves to a new area every movie
This always stuck with me but in the beginning of this clip you can see one of the camera men over the ledge as Denzel walks down the path into the garden. There’s also another time in the movie that this happens lol

The Black Guy Performance a Good Painter Far Of Gang Thug So Fine
It was still a good film, but too 'woke' for my liking. If they make another 'Equalizer' film I hope they try to avoid the, "We're pushing our political agendas down your throat during this!", approach. The way things are nowdays, though, I think the Hollywood 'freak show' are now incapable of this, unfortunately.
You can count on one thing
Chit only gonna get more "woke" from here
Look, a right wing cry baby
Did… did we watch the same movie?
The “woke” narrative would have said there is nothing wrong with drug usage, yet this movie sets up the druggies as gangsters.
The woke narrative would have embraced the idea that Miles (the young black guy) had nothing wrong with him, and certainly not the line “dont blame the white man”
I don't think you watched the same movie
