I work for Land Rover and can confirm adaptive cruise control is standard on all models in the Rover line up! I work in sales, Evoques lease really well at the moment
Why isn't there a P300 anymore. We also don't get the P300e phev. The P250 is just too sluggish for the price. They need to drop the price by at least $15k, then there would be room for the better optional powertrains. I also miss the option of the dark red leather.
@@jeffs6090 the P300 was a nice bump in power for sure, but price point and lack of consumer interest lead to its demise. The P250 power is honestly enough, I would say the transmission is the negative. Overall a really nice vehicle, especially looking at the lease option
I had a 2014 new. I LOVED driving it and just being in it more then any other vehicles I've owned and I've owned a lot of SUV's and Trucks including new Corvettes. However, the reliability of my 2014 was awful. The transmission was updated 7 times and still shifted horribly. It was the only vehicle I ever owned that I actually kept a list of everything done to it and everything that went wrong because it just never stopped being a problem. Yet, I loved it and I'm now looking at a Defender. Expensive, reliability is always a question mark, and maintenance costs are very high. Maybe if maintenance was included that could push me to purchase one. So many better vehicles out there right now.
Love the looks of this. I wish they would've kept the climate buttons, but the infotainment seems pretty seamless, so I can forgive them. Great on the used market after a mountain of depreciation.
Range Rover hasn’t been about off-road for a decade now, we can stop pretending. 50 grand sub compact you only buy because you can’t afford a real range rover but absolutely must have the badge

That’s good to know, thanks!
I bought my Evoque brand new in 2015 and it has been flawless. I love it.

Forgot they still made these but definitely seems improved over previous iterations. Great review as always!
I don't know a lot about these. Thanks for this review and the information you presented. 👍👍
Thank you for watching!

Aren’t these on a Ford Escape chassis?
I know the ZF 9-speed is not the best transmission but it doesn’t look like it shifts that well in this car.
This transmission is truly one of the worst I’ve experienced in any modern car. Great video!
When i sold cars, we'd occasionally get these from auction. They usually sold within a week

Beauty
Looks pretty decent actually, just seems to be priced out of its league given the inherent flaws.
Nice job Matt Moron
Was that supposed to be an insult or did you typo his last name lol
@@jakemathis3496A-hole makes the same comment on all his videos. Matt should block him.
Honestly I’d pay the extra money and get the velar value for money the evoque isn’t the best

No way they still make this thing 😂
Range Rover Evoque: I want a car that breaks down more than me after a glass of chardonnay.
I’d get a gv70 or cx30 over this every day. If I wanted to off-road I’d get a grand Cherokee summit reserve
