Great video! My biggest tip to get instantly better at XD is to swap ability if you die with a cooldown. XD incentivizes swapping abilities by resetting the cooldown and letting you keep ult charge. I instantly doubled my healing and also never have to start a life with no ability

Your dead zone depends on how messed up your analog sticks are. You cant generalize it to "don't go above xyz"
I mean the point is if you need to change it more then that you need to simply get a new controller
Not necessarily. I use 5 on my right stick on my brand new controller. I personally like the feel of having a little deadzone for aiming.

That’s true to an extent. Generally on stiff response curves like the ones in xdefiant you shouldn’t need any dead zones at all. Well unless your controller is trash.
I play 20/20 dead zones because my drift is THICK. I'm currently averaging 50 kills a game with over 11k kills currently top 2% player accordingly to TRN. So yeah, deadzones depend on the controller. So if you think you need a new controller boy, have I got something to sell you.

Yo, Apathy. This video is exactly what I needed to get outta my rut. I followed your controller settings and bumped up to 55-55 and pulled myself out of my rut. 💙
Does crouch on hold help with regards to your movement and shots? Vs toggle?
1. With the patch some things changed. Slide cancels can't be chained anymore. (always save yourself 2 jumps just in case.)
2. Controller tips? KBAM dominates this game. (lol)
3. I'd rec jump strafe up close, at far it means you're in the center longer
4. Advantage is always smart, most games are like this. Important to remember that those aren't players, they are bots controlled by players that talk to your machine. Advantage is real.
5. Learn your "shallow" which is which side you have trouble snapping to. Find a light, stand to the left of it and snap your mouse to it. Then to the right. Which one is weaker? Keep this in mind until it's memory. (Also good for finding snap sense in KBAM)
6. The devs said no one should fiddle with Acc speed multi, should stay at 1, they are thinking its bugged. It's on twitter.
7. Lib is super underrated. Cleaner (good to know the tank doesnt count as hitbox!) Phantom (Try the personal shield, it's great for skirmish if you have good movement, people always turn and run, swap weapons and pop them, free kill. If playing with others, the stand up shield is best. Ech, I think its overpicked compared to the abilities they have esp vs good players. Ded Sec is busted for snipers and I'm surprised more people dont run it with landmine, you literally cannot be stopped.
8. If you have a cooldown on death, swap abilities but not class, it resets and gives you a free cast meaning you have perfect uptime :)

no it’s not. helps with crouch spamming, most roller pros use hold if the game offers it

Also, and I don’t know if it’s true in this game but typically speaking when you quick go by you when you ADS while already shooting you generally getting assist from that as well so that like miniature I mean very short assist helps you walk on at least to the body, but hopefully the head When you scope in, you’re already shooting most games over the generation of shooters have behaved this way that’s why the word quick scoping even exist. If you’re just holding down the ADS button assisted unless somebody runs in Fast in front of your, but you will assist will help jump you to a target if you’re close enough to it, tell me I’m wrong. This game doesn’t do that function assist in every shooter throughout the gaming history.

It’s a fallacy your fractions are not right or left-hand dominant your guns however have right or left recoil some guns recoil up into the right some gun recoil up to the left that cannot be translated is being related to your faction

That’s not why jumping slide canceling is really about the jumping and that’s not why it’s so effective why it’s so effective is because they’re literally cold that gives you a higher ADS assistant ADS when you’re jumping it’s Ludacris that it works that way it should destroy your accuracy for at least 200 ms. You shouldn’t be able to hit anything after you just slid and jumped, but that’s not how it works, I thought they put a patch in to fix that behavior at the same time. They also adjusted snipers so that they got more sway when they did that. I thought they also changed it so you weren’t gaining that accuracy by slide jumping, but apparently not.

@@brandenr5937 Yep, recoil control. He's a former world champion at CoD, so his aim is gonna look clean. Plus high FOV shows less visual recoil on screen

What time does Cal this game is under half hour. It’s only 500 ms right it’s under that train three and 500 ms for most weapons so using the techniques you’re talking about is abuse and they should be removed from the game. Jumping shouldn’t be a thing it’s just an abuse of the fact that we’re not in the same place you jump around the corner Before I even see you before my computer or my consul paint you on the screen I’m already dead because that takes about half a millisecond as well. It’s just bad design for a shooter anyway it’s terrible game design jumping shouldn’t be a thing in addition if you did and it’s allowed because there are maths where you don’t have to be able to jump across stuff For that or so balance out you literally should lose all your accuracy. Your bullshit should be going everywhere, but where you aim them jumping have you ever tried a range to jump up in the air and hit the target holding your gun pointed at the ground, jump up in the air ADS on your target game right and shoot and see if you can hit anywhere near the body, more than 10 m with a shotgun, but it’s a Ludacris gameplay mechanic that should not be in any shooter or if it is you should be severely either just straight up or maybe your clone of fire if the game has that maybe both because I mean, if there’s a way to circumvent physics in a video game, people find it and abuse it the developers should eliminate it
