Them and IZ*ONE (rest in peace and power) are the 2 best female kpop groups in terms of dancing imo... all of their choreos and energy and synchronization power are just amazing. Their large number also makes it more epic while dancing while doing those intricate but beautiful imageries.
Itzy does have amazing choreography but I think compared to Loona,Iz*one, and Dreamcatcher I don’t think they’re as hard as those three. BUT I do love their choreo
I think individually they go harder in the first half, but in the later section they focus more on being synchronized all together and keeping that cleanliness. and besides that, the live stages definitely give more intensity
i totally agree with you with the "agression" topic. after watching all of their live stages, i could say that they went harder dancing to that choreography than what they did during the filming of this dance practice! i felt like something was a little bit missing also when i watched the dance practice esp on the last chorus but i personally think they killed it on their stages more!

so i know they halted promotions because one of their staff caught the virus and if i heard correctly, they got called in to film the practice randomly after this break. i think that two weeks off might be the reason for the drop in intensity, because they definitely go harder in the iive stages!
jeff's channel is the only reaction channel i love sm 😫the way he looks into the performance, each movements, the suggestions as well as the compliments are so beautifully explained and i can relate really well.

Agreed. I think bc dance practices are more to show off the choreography itself and they’re know for their synchronization, they wanted to keep it cleaner. You get the sense that they’re holding back, but just barely (look at Olivia, Choerry, and Yves especially during that last chorus).

I was analyzing the number of their formations from Butterfly to PTT, and I found out that they had 50+ different formations in each. "So What" having the most number of formations, and sadly I don't remember what song came next as I did the analysis a long time ago because I wanted to pick a song that would be best to perform with my dance group considering their stamina. Nevertheless, the formations averaged for about 50+.
the girls are just like taemin where they treat dance practice as simply that… live stages are were they just KILL you w their dance presence, facial expressions, everything… if you have a chance pls pls check out hula hoop dance practice the contrast to PTT is amazing

most of the time the lack of agressivity is due to having to sing live so they get used to being clean and contained
