Thank you for this video! I had to take out the battery in my IdeaPad 510-15ISK, fortunately I think this model has the same build as the 15IKB. I have never done something like this before but the instructions were very clear and I successfully dissassembled and assembled my laptop. I will come back to this video again when the new battery arrives lol.
Also a small sheet metal part came loose during disassembly, it's about 2cm x 1cm x 0.5cm big, here's a picture of it: imgur.com/a/xcwvell . Do you have an idea where this should be? I didn't put it back and everything works so far so I hope it's not that important.

You can add max 16GB so it will be 4+16=20GB or if you want you can add 8GB 4+8=12GB , it depends on your uses what you want to run in this laptop. Thank you🙏
I changed battery yesterday with one of "greencell" found on Amazon Italy. It's normal Windows reports only 1 hour and 15 minutes of autonomy ( maximum brightness and WiFi on)? I don't remember the original autonomy of the original battery (I bought it in January 2017). Thank you in advice!

You can get it from Amazon but you need the part number of battery. For part number you can type your laptop serial number in Lenovo official website and check it's battery information there you will get battery part number .
I have ideapa 310 i3 6th gen 2.0ghz , 4gb ram with Nvidia 920m. But the problem is I played games it was running smooth in 5min ofter 5min it get fps drop randomly I think thermal throttling. I clean the fan and change the thermal past to CPU and GPU but no use same problem how to fix plz help me

Performance lose might be because of heating in laptop you need to maintain service of your laptop like installing new thermal paste and oiling & cleaning of fan and Heatsink so the heat can get out easily.
Almost all models are in internet you can check over there if still don’t then while opening laptop just check the cables connections are from down or up then u can know it.

@@grumpykraken619 if wifi cable is broken so you won't get wifi signals properly. Wifi cable is wifi antenna📡. It can be repaired it has 2 cables inside just connect it properly it will work properly.

The video showed up on my suggestions after I screwed my 510KB already... :( Hard drive cover clips are broken... Lenovo said that they no longer sell replacement for this model.
You can purchase cover from any computer repair shop you will get it in cheap price. Before Disassembling any laptop you should have it's proper knowledge.

When ever you purchase any laptop you have to check that it's battery is inbuilt or not. It's not about earning it's about making laptop slim and light weight. This think you can check in mobiles also.

Metal sheet is of DVD drive, it holds the DVD drive there must be screws also .

The hinges of my ideapad 510 has been broken..? Should I fix it using araldite or get it fixed by the repairment shops?
Hings can be Gas welded then you can fix it.

Thermal paste is used on processor so that it won't get over heated and don't use your laptop on the bed.

Reconnect the motherboard again if still don't work then remove the CMOS battery and ON the laptop without battery direct with charger.
