Congrats to Dallas on winning and the Knights for going to game seven! This season was weird and that’s okay! See everyone in a couple months when we can try our luck again at bringing the cup back to Vegas!
Dallas fan here. You guys made us sweat every game! Phenomenal series as always against your team. You guys have great takes and i always checked in to see your perspectives. Right on the money. Hopefully we see you next year for another butt clinching round.

Stars fan.. Fun series to watch. Stars were and are the better team and while it was close, it was clear who the better team was.
I didn’t care for Cassidy’s explanations. Injuries = excuses. Dallas is dealing with multiple injuries and has been. Everybody is at this time of the year. VGK got out played and out coached. That’s all there is to it.
VGK will look like a completely different team next year. Best wishes in the off season.
Cassidy proved my point. Coaches are just passengers, back seat passengers.

As for Cassidy DeBoer matchup..good on you for focusing on this. It has been likely somewhat refreshing for DeBoer to coach in the Nill management in Dallas. Here the GM has insisted on challenging his players and coach with the LTIR controversy.
Legitimate the Cap loophole may be..it’s disheartening injured players forced to defend their status after extended time on the sidelines. Because bottom line is these players become a further casualty when they return to a team hastily reconfigured with new players…who may well be replacing your existing teammates. Vegas could do a better job with this situation. Winning is a team enterprise as much as it is about roster management.

Congratulations to Dallas and our past Coach DeBoer. My favorite team may be out, but I will be watching and enjoying all the other games to come. And who knows, maybe Pete DeBoer will finally get that elusive but well-deserved Stanly Cup.
I was able to go to the game. Looked like the Knights just struggled to get anything on net. But, I made sure to get a picture as Marchessault skated off for the last time in a Knights jersey…😢
The lines never really got figured out. Stone was not right either.
Vegas had no puck luck this playoffs, it is what it is. Time to prepare for next year and get better.

@@shinyuta It's people who know about the game that most resent how the Cheating Knights weaponize LTIR to stay under the salary cap during regular season. Stone recovered quickly enough to score on his first shift in the playoffs. What part of the brain controls the desire for fairness, and resentment toward those who take advantage of every loophole not covered by specific words written down in black and white?

It’s gonna be an upheaval. Losing in the 1st round is a huge negative financially. They will be about 19 million over the cap going into next year. Looks like an offseason of trading for “future considerations”
Why are you not hammering the lack of production by Marchesault ? He is/was our leading scorer. His performance was not good resume material for the next contract negotiation.

Unfortunately, this years version of Thomas Tatar is Hertal. Everywhere you put him hurt the line he was on. Now we have a 6 year boat anchor. Mantha was also a mistake at least we won't resign him. Hanifn is good. This is the end of the championship run. Petro and Stone are in decline. Not a great future. Dallas is not as good as people think but have a bright future, they will lose to Avalanche.

Obvious turning point was game 3, when the knights refused to take advantage of LT's remarkable goaltending allowing Dallas bacl into it.
It is a shame because it appears the knights legacy will be (fairly or unfairly)tarnished now as the league changes it's ltir cap rules. They will forever be remembered as the team that manipulated the rules and won a cup as a result

I think the turning point was the Pietrangelo penalty in Game 4. Undisciplined, terrible penalty that led to the GWG.

Stars fan here. NGL, y'all had me seriously worried about the Stars season after the first 2 games but Joey from LockedOnStars def had it right when he told us to be more patient and to see what happens with Game 3 because that would have been the major decider of how the season went after that. I appreciate y'all giving credit to the Stars when it was due/earned. The VGK is a daunting team to go against in the first round, prob the most challenging in my opinion. Question for you guys, do you think that perhaps maybe Bruce Cassidy and maybe even a good chunk of the team may have underestimated us Stars due to the blowout in game 6 last season and well beating us in the regular season fairly decisively this season? I know that The Stars and DeBoer did not underestimate y'all whatsoever, but they were cool, calm, and collected under the pressure especially in Game 3-4 and then turned the pressure on like crazy after that (except for maybe Game 6, I personally thought the Stars made some mistakes there but Hill was also very good in that game to give him his credit) . Helluva series, easily the best first round series of the playoffs hands down and no one can change my mind there.
