Respectfully Marcos, when you used to have a few beers, you were still an awesome father & husband in your Overstay Roads vloggs. In my opinion, now, since you stopped drinking beer, you show you're even more of a very caring & loving father & husband. You may or may not realize it, you are a natural, and a perfect married expat husband, father & family male role model in the Phillippines. Wishing you many years of happiness for you & your family. 😊 Sincerely, from one of your many subscribers.
Your kids are awesome... Maria Mercedes is smart as a whip, her English is getting better and better and definitely has a head start over her classmates when they start learning English.
Theres a guy who builds islands out of plastic bottles he gets mesh bags ( big ones ) ans fills them with the bottles then he ties the bags of bottles together with rope then covers with pallets and dirt then he builds his hut on it as well as a few other cool nifty creations for living on it😊😊👍👍
I'll never forget the time some years ago when I texted my sons to remind them that I'd be picking them up that weekend and they responded that they had forgotten and had other things planned. I knew then that things had changed. What an ache it brought to my heart.
Ladies are definitely living life able to walk around the market Shop freely and pick up stuff to their liking. Tayo could never provide them a life like this
Compared to their average wages, food prices seems to be extremely expensive for the Filipino people. I live in Italy and it's on par on what I can find here. Even slightly more expensive, because now vegetables and fruits in season (cabbages, cauliflower, romanesco, apples and oranges) are 1 Euro per kilogram here, while in this video very few foodstuffs were priced less than 60 Filipino pesos per kg.
Vegetable spreadsheet... Really good idea... thanks, for keeping us updated. Maybe, mention the city these prices are at too. Great job crew and Marcos!
Forest g is so happy just to be outside and Move in, I always look forward to your videos. And it's my birthday, so what better way to spend it with you all?May God continue to bless you
So happy you’ve moved to Daanbantayan province,,, finally my wife wants to watch your videos. Her cousin owns Almedas store , our grandchildren love to play in that park ,, so many familiar landmarks,, Thank you,, Jay
Your wife is strong Filipina like your mother in law ❤❤❤hi beautiful family here in America you said let's go shopping they love to spend your money here ❤
Motorcycles... amazing, some of the name brand bike are 50 yrs old and are still on the road. I would never buy a ch.in a brand bike. We miss the Tesla chopper : )
₱ 340/kg for fresh shrimp works out to approx $2.70/lb. Man, in my area we’re looking at prices like $9.00/lb frozen/fresh-frozen. So it struck a curious nerve - my nearest Jollibee (10 miles away/nor cal) has the 2 pc chicken joy meal for $12.00 (₱ 689). I’m not a fan but a friend (boots on the ground) told me it was around ₱165. Just wow
Always remember the merchant names and be sociable. The more you shop there the better they will give you discounts. My mom does it all the time. She loves to be socialble with the vendors and find out who gives her the best deals on groceries. Especially meat, fish and chicken. My mom would spent 2-3 hours just to get what we need for the day. Be safe always guys and you do have a wonderful family. Please keep an eye on the little ones. There so adorable 🥰. Thanks for sharing your exciting market tour. I miss the market there in San Fernando, Zambalez, Luzon. The price for the vegetables are good not great. It’s getting close to US prices. I can’t believe the tomatoes are $2 for 8 small tomatoes 🍅 😅
Veggies are cheap, but they are tough. Broccoli for example. You’re buying a huge stem with an average size head. I just throw the whole stem away. Bell peppers are thin walled with tough skins. Onions are small. Celery goes to rot fast. Carrots are short and fat. Cabbage is hard to chew. Potatoes are usually small and a cream color. And you don’t want to eat any raw veggies unless purchased from an organic supplier. Head lettuce is hard to find. Tomatoes are small with tough skins. The rest seem to be ok. The best are the native fruits.
One of the worst things with a cash only society like the PH is that they only spit out 1000 pesos notes. Its like being in the USA and trying to break a $50 bill at the donut shop everywhere you go
There’s a curve just before that town where you can find a electricity post planted on the middle of the road, during the night without any lights you barely can see it 😂
For comparison bananas at 90 pesos/ kg is $0.71/lb USD. Today here in Phoenix AZ USA bananas at Food City is $0.50/lb. I see a lot of Tubers scream PH is cheap. I don't see it. Some things are more, some less. The wheelchair friendly ramp is for the vender carts.
Not in California. Bananas are over 70c a pound. Gas is 55 pesos a liter, or less than a dollar a liter here or about 4 dollars a gallon. In California, it is over 5 or 6 dollars a gallon. My 2 bedroom condo is 236.00 a month here in Lipa City. 1600 dollars and over in Cali. For a studio apt. 4 dollars for Burger King here in the PI. It's 14.00 or more dollars for Burger King in California. A Movie is 300 pesos. If you are a senior like I am, I get a 25% discount on anything from travel to groceries. That includes bus service, ferry service, or any kind of mass transit. I could go on, but I would be here for a while. So yes, it is much cheaper here in the PI. The ramps on the sidewalks here in Lipa City ARE for wheelchair and the disabled. Have you even been here before?
The prices sounds very inflating. If you want to know the real prices send just the girls with a small microphone . You shouldn't thank the sales lady for telling the prices, she should put prices on the products she sell. But than she couldn't scam anyone.
My man in Seychelles you will not even buy a kilo of fresh prawns for the money you spent in this market. Only the prawns here are not fresh frozen more than 3000 pesos per kilo, tomatoes today I bought for 8 dollars US a kilo. I am jealous seeing what you can buy there for like 10x cheaper than here. I am sure that what you bought in this market will cost you more than 200 US dollars in my country. I see only the fish here is cheaper. Here we use rupees today one rates one rupee you get 4.15 pesos. So you pay 340 pesos a kilo for prawns that is around 80 rupees, on Sunday I bought 380grams of frozen prawns for 265 rupees so just multiply this by 4.15 see the difference.
Marcos is 100% right. It is healthy everyone go out for a long walk from time to time. Walk to the Store and drive the Trike Back with the food. Part of the Reason in USA every is overweight is because no one exercises and over eat. Fatima is beautiful woman just a little chubby hahaha.
Respectfully Marcos, when you used to have a few beers, you were still an awesome father & husband in your Overstay Roads vloggs.

Your kids are awesome... Maria Mercedes is smart as a whip, her English is getting better and better and definitely has a head start over her classmates when they start learning English.

Sarap naman yan paksiw na isda
Another Amazing Family Time Brother, enjoy and take care ❤
Cool thing about markets in Baguio is most produce is marked with the price. So there isn't the hours of asking "How much?" And no skin tax.
Do you live in Baguio? Is the whole territory of Baguio cooler than the rest of the country or is it just in its mountains?
Great amazing family video Sir. keep them coming.
Proud of Forrest G! 👏👏👏

Ladies are definitely living life able to walk around the market Shop freely and pick up stuff to their liking. Tayo could never provide them a life like this
Looks like a hot walk with no trees. I'd definitely need a couple of cold red horse beers for that walk.
