- John John got a GREAT deal on a trike rental for the day. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for, my friends. That trike was more stubborn than an old mule. Luckily for me, I had my CRACK TEAM of Filipinas on board the aircraft. Grandma and Flo deployed to the rear of the trike and provided supplemental horsepower while Fatima herded the children to safety.

Just a suggestion. Most common vehicle over there for you. Toyota tundra diesel or gas Crew cab 4x4. You can order one without the truck bed. Get your flat bed custom made. It's small and convenient, anything happens- parts are readily available. The 4x4 height can get you back and fourth to the village. It's small enough to load on those cargo ships jumping from island to island. The flatbed, you can haul, camp out in it, make custom seats with canopy to haul the whole village. You can strap an ice chest in the back. Just an idea now. Cuz I watched a guy buy a Ford and his parts cost him a arm n leg. Plus he has to wait for shipping, if they don't disappear enroute.
