what makes this song so great for me is the specific meter with its slow pulse, ... it feels like an odd time signature at first but it's just a really slow 4/4b feel which is this new terrain of relaxed groove with those 808s that dont give a shit down there .... so much thought went into the composition of this song !!!!! no attention is paid to the specific meter of the song or the harmony in my opinion which could make this amazing !! , there are no diminished chords in bjork's music!!! sushi restaurant reductions of good songs is a thing starbucks loves to do and i feel you can do better than that. ... and that chord after the last i care for you bevfore second verse is something even tori amos would know not to do . brad meldau would nail this obviously (its not fair to bring brad meldau into this causwe he;s a freak) but maybe you should check out what he does with his interpretations of oddball pop/alternative... bjork's music can seem so breezy and easy but pay close attention to how the song is structured , it would be nice to hear that captured into a solon piano version for sure. :) i just really really really love this song and dont mean to rip into you i guess i am slightly offended lol
