The pictures are always very beautiful. But it's so sad to see the deserted streets. I am thinking of vendors, street food, tourism ... Thailand urgently needs to reopen its borders in order to revive the country's economy. Long live Bangkok, long live Thailand.
It's the combination of many things Thailand was nearly closing down the country during covid-19 so 99% percent of tourist whether international or locally are gone and they were the majority who roam around that area, and if Grand Palace /Museums/ Temples were closing there is no reason travel in that area apart from the local whose normally only out in the public space at the evening. The lock down in Thailand mostly didnt forbid people to go outside but try to shut most of the businesses parks and temples so people have no reason to be out the result is as you can see.
Wat Pho is very beautiful, Rattanakosin Island and the old town of Thailand are world class beautiful.
