  • So, this is a collection of music I have been working on. Played on a Fretless Boucher tuned E/A Rice style. Using the Hybrid technique in no particular manner.
I put these together in a live way....not stopping and not editing. I guess I'm not afraid of just blowing it and being to recover.
These songs have not been played much...as they are my own arrangements. I am going for that "Sweet Spot" in the banjo development. These are all my interpretations. They come out sounding like....sort of Classical almost. I don't know....its just leaning like that. I find the effect rather soothing to listen to to fall asleep. Ha Ha. No kidding.
Anyway, I'd be glad to hear any comments on this experiment.

This is an American Civil War Reenactor’s dream, and even further - a Living Historian + Minstrel Banjo player’s heaven. Thank you so kindly, Mr. Twiss! This video feels like it was made perfectly for me 😆

So good to hear these tunes Tim. It’s late at night, I just closed my eyes and let these tunes carry me off. Thank you.

You know I sort of thought so too. That's kind of what attracted me to that sort of approach.

This is great. What's the first song and is it in a book somewhere?
