I always wonder how it must have been like to be these kind of situations. I always do research on true stories like this. Its very fascinating.
Who provided the voice template for the A.I.? It has a crisp British accent I find interesting. Though it has those mispronunciations that annoy people, it is still pleasant to listen to.

The accent should be on "bruk", not "To."
Second time around, Tobruk was defended by inexperienced South Africans, instead of battle hardened Australians; and that it's previous static defenses had been dismantled. Which is why the South Africans were overcome so swiftly.
Utter twaddle. Tobruk's defences had been allowed to run down to the point where it was indefensible.

The second South African Infantry Division had previously participated in the battles of Bardia, Sollum, and Gazala and were far from inexperienced. The defences of Tobruk had been run down completely and it was never intended to be defended. Auchinlek and Ritchie dropped the South Africans into an untenable situation as they were never supposed to allow themselves to be invested in Tobruk as it was by then indefensible. As usual, the British commanders tried to cover up their incompetence by blaming the South Africans.

In other words, they were meant to be cannon fodder to distract the British from the flanking attacks.
