- Not my usual kind of video, I'll get back to Touhou right after this but I've had my eye on this game since 2019 and found the boss fights to be really fun and something I could actually P rank unlike the levels so I thought I'd make a video out of it. If you're interested in getting the game I recommend it there's a lot of replay value with the achievements and it's one of the best platformers I've played.

fun fact: when you get to the ending and see what remained of the tower, you can see the pink brick janitor guy in pure depression due to pillar jown not surviving, but if you find all the treasures which are foods, you can get a true ending, feed them to john's body and he returns into his original brick form like the janitor.
also being similar to the scrapped way you'd encounter john, (you had to feed him your toppins or smth)

Working in a pizzeria for 6 years, this game resonates with me lol. Also Fake Peppino is terrifying
as an italian myself I was also looking forward to the release lol.
and the first time you fight fake peppino and he has the normal peppino portrait was genuinely unsettling.
He looks goofy though. But the one thing that is scary is when you run away from the fake,peppino

I think what happened was that after he fought them at once, they snapped to reality and are no longer in control from Pizza Head.

id like to think on the boss rush, peppino wasn’t mad because all of the bosses. he was mad at fake peppino because not only did fake peppino copy him and his every move, but he also chased peppino so that caused peppino to reach his limit of trauma that fake peppino caused him

pizza face phase 2 reminds me of that lanky ass boss from wario world the way he runs
The game was inspired by Wario Land. It’s kinda noticeable through the movement mechanics, but the character is also inspired by Wario.

Pizza Face's tough af. dude took so many beatings, his head got buried on the tower and he still had the audacity to make his usual mascot pose, and when the tower fell, he fell with it while everyone who got left behind are dead and ALL IT TOOK is a single spin and he's in tiptop shape like he's never been beaten an inch of his life just to get knocked his ass out into the heavens just to come back fine.

some of the patreon builds had co-op I'm pretty sure but I don't know if it was dropped or it's planned for an update

I think this might happen:
Double pepperman,a green one and a yellow one,instead of the classic red
Then vigi would just get another cheeseslime,being snotty,and if snotty is defeated first,he's tecnically dead
The noise would gbecome the doise,from the wiki!1!1!1! (Tecnically the noise would just become harder and get re-skinned in coop)
And fake peppino, would just get a noise edition of himself

What happens if you fail to draw in the vigilante boss fight or is that a cutscene?
I went and checked and it throws you back into the fight with -1 hp (vigilante will have 1 hp) but you get like a full 2 seconds to draw the gun so you probably will never see it

damn he got hit on a normal level where the worst getting hit could do is revert your score by like 10 and potentially prevent you from getting outta there depending on how many times you get hit

9:29 9:32 the background change is actually terrifying, the way you can see people in the pizza, the fact that it now says “Peppino Peppino Peppino Peppino” on the chalkboard, people in the garbage, Mascot Fake Peppino speaking something that if I know the developers probably is “Nothing compares!” In something like Hexadecimal, eyes behind the board and legs in the wall and trash. Damn, they really spent time making this the most horrifying fight in all of gaming.
Oh and PizzaHead’s mere existence is also psychotic, the fact that they noticed that the TV in normal levels isn’t in bosses and make PizzaHead use it as an attack and GAVE YOU A GUN FOR THE FUN OF IT, along with the song, WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING IN THE BACKGROUND? So I want what I don’t want boutta boutta? Really good introduction to the finale.
