    What a beautiful getaway!! Algonquin is the cleanest park I’ve seen; dense and super-varied forests with lots of silence! Awesome video Ev, thanks for sharing this memory.

    Amazing trip!! Loved the video especially the close ups of cooking over the fire.
    You got a nice selection of flies but the good ol' woolly bugger or kreelex always seems to get the job done eh (I carry a hundred flies out there and always end up using the same 3 😂)

      Aye thanks for watching Derek I was just about to watch your video!! The bugger does it every time I was considering a muddler but maybe next time🎣

    Enjoyed this video. What a great little trip. And the hamock tips are on point. On my 15 dayer I can honestly say there was only maybe 3 nights I had it dialed right in and felt like I was is heaven. OHHHH and loved the dance moves at the end! :)

    Great video!
    Just wanted to say the fish you caught is a Splake. Brook Trout have “square” tails & yours has a very distinct “V” tail which Splake have.
    Good luck fishing 🎣!!

      It was a brrok trout. It was just the angle of the camera that made it appear that way. There are no splake in algonquin rivers

    got any suggestions for entry points? hoping to do the same this spring

    • @Evan_Le5
      @Evan_Le5  7 месяцев назад

      Brent! Be careful paddling cedar though it’s a really dangerous lake to be paddling in the spring. Make sure you’re able to self rescue out on the water and keep some dry clothes handy, it’s a big crossing.
