The amount of nostalgia I'm getting from this is off the charts! I remember growing up as a young kid (early 2000s - 2010s) that my grandma would always watch Tom and Jerry with me. Good times. I should call her and tell her how much I love her. ♥

There's something about this episode that's just great about it. The orchestra, the artwork, the storytelling, and the message of the story; it's all perfect. Arguably my favourite episode.
My only issue is the blackface joke, but it doesn't bother me much.

It's from the 40's, racism was completely normal and this is how our kind was viewed back then. To any while adult that joke was hilarious. "It's funny cus it's true" was probably their thought process.
