Let's have a throwback by going back further from last week's GTA IV-related tourist episode to one from GTA: San Andreas. Today, we take a ride on the Brown Streak train and have a tour of each station in the line. We'll start and end at Unity Station in Los Santos :)

The train system in GTA SA was clearly an afterthought
Was it though? It's way better than GTA V

I never new you could ride the train I thought you had to drive the train
You can even skip the ride to the next station. This can be used for quick travel across the map.
watching this just brought me back a lot of nostalgia
definitely brings me back to 2005-06.

I didn't knew that we can enter the train as a passenger in gta sa despite playing it for many times and for many years.

Cranberry station seems to have barely any trains unlike the others it might take like 30 minutes for one to arrive -_-

why in gta san andreas (except for some missions) do the trains travel on only one track?
It’s just unfortunate how long it takes for them to arrive. Playing this game for the first time in a long time without cheats and that would be helpful.
Install railway sounds and train anim mods.for.more better experience

I don't like the damn train. It's slow and you can't drive in first person like in GTA V.
Think about if you had to walk the whole rail way. You'd be happy to ride the damn train
Plus it's pretty useful if you wanna get somewhere but don't feel like driving.

The train always stops on thatside why doesn’t he go on the other side when he is gone the other way
That sobell stop is a useless station. There should've been stops in whetstone and bone county.

It was a station in the beta, Rockstar just didn't fix it.
I'd say the train need fuel so it can run back to Los Santos. And the train needs to stop at small towns also not just at cities.
Unity station is similar to union station in LA
Because it's supposed to be Union Station.
