Such a sad day on May 18th when we lost a true music icon, Chris Cornell. Trying to choose just one song to play was an impossible task, so I compiled six favourites into a medley: I Am the Highway (0:00); Like A Stone (1:10); Getaway Car (2:31); Shadow On the Sun (3:46); Black Hole Sun (4:47); and Hunger Strike (6:27). I have loved Audios lave since Show Me How To Live. I have a special place in my heart for this music because my 21 month old son passed away 15 years ago due to a rare neuromuscular disorder. I played the Audioslave songs for him and he would stare at the TV and bounced up and down to the groove. I will always miss him but at least I can revisit that precious 21 month time period anytime I hear Audioslave and people performing Audioslave. I have been listening to all of Chris's music, interviews, songs, etc. Since his passing. The man was a musical genius with amazing talent just as you are. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent as well Sir. Just know that you are a damn great singer and guitariat. Keep on jamming ! Subscribing now. Please continue to belt out some more Cornel tunes.
