Damn, I had just bought the Llano... But this one doesn't seem to have a foam air filter, and the one it uses seems like a nightmare to clean (the manual says that one has to e.g. reach inside with a toothbrush and then blow the dust out). With that in mind, the dust filter should have been removable and just like the thin foam pad - it feels more like an afterthough in an otherwise best-looking cooler in its category. Thanks for providing the thermal test results, excellent video.
Bought a surface laptop studio 2 i7 13th Gen Nvidia 4060 64 GB RAM 2TB Played Forza horizon and could cook an omlet on it, so here I’m looking for cooling pads for a laptop without intake vents at the bottom
Those are definitely the hardest laptops to cool for sure. But from my understanding that laptop has a side exhaust fan so your best bet may be looking at a vacuum laptop cooler like this one. amzn.to/4c3ci33 I made a video on it last year if you want to take a look ruclips.net/video/6MMl1rkQfIc/видео.htmlsi=Q8fyBGVIW-NKGE_s
I have in stock, the IETS gt626. Gt500 and MEMO FL08 compared with them used with laptop MSI Katana 15 B12 cooling pad does not cope with its main function, the foam zone lets in a lot of air regardless of the position of the laptop, so the cooling is at the level of conventional cooling pads, the foam zone is ill-conceived, too thin, and its area is too small compared to competitors in addition the laptop is constantly wobbling when typing. The air intake, although large, can only draw air from the front, on the sides there is no air intake. because of this, it is also inconvenient to place close to the wall because of the small air flow, the competitors do not have such vulnerable places. The dust net in it is not removable, and it is awfully inconvenient to clean it, but it must be done without fail, I think there is no need to explain why. the solution is only to blow with a strong stream of air. Despite the many promising advantages, this product is extremely disappointing due to design problems and is not worth the money. I plan to return the product.
everyone decides for himself what is more important. In terms of cooling memo will be better and much cheaper, but bs1 is many times quieter, and more compact, the quality of construction materials is significantly higher. + software and usb-c power supply. But a huge disadvantage is the ill-conceived cooling system, because of this its efficiency suffers greatly.
Nice video. Here's a bit of feedback though; Can you make the graphs bigger in the future? probably just get rid of the 120° mark, it's pretty hard to read on mobile
I would have preferred that you test the sound with the laptop ON the cooler, as that's how it would be used. And not sure why you included stats for the laptop that only had vents on the front, as that could have just been mentioned as this cooler not being a viable candidate for that particular brand of laptop. Otherwise nice video.
im really glad you wasted 5 minutes of my time by testing this cooler on a laptop with cooling vents placed on the wrong area for this cooler. Real professional.
I have the llano v12 that I use on my legion 7i but the problem is the foam covers the speakers which are placed on the under the laptop in the front. I might have to try this one out because it seems like it will solve that problem
And I'm not installing an app from a Chinese company which by law HAS to allow the CCP access to its offerings, on my on my Windows 11 laptop. NO WAY. But I like the rest of the features.
Can you compare the Flydigi with a few other foam cooling pads, matching the decibel levels (or maybe perceptible noise levels since they have different sound profiles)? Also any thoughts on the AICHESON K1-V5 and K1-V12? Right now they're on sale for $28 and $55 USD respectively, though make sure to skip the ones without the full 360 degree foam seal.
Hey thanks for the review I have a legion pro 5 7945hx I just got the gt626 and i dont use more than 1600rpm cause it gets super load even with closeback headphones With the gt626 the dust filter can be removed and can be easily washed I wanted to sell my gt626 and buy the bs1 cause its quieter compared to gt626 and i can use 3000rpm without worrying about the noise Now my only concern is the dust filter Can i remove it and wash it like the the gt626? and if not whats the best way for it Can i clean it at least? 65K subs and can't even normalize sound levels 🤦♂ All you need for your laptop to run cool is to elevate it off the table. It already has cooling fans and, no, more fans doesn't equal better. A simple metal frame stand is all you need.
Who cares, how many other people are there doing a review on a super niche laptop cooler? Plus; point of a video is listening and not reading a soulless webpage.
Most well thought out videos are scripted…. Some people use bullet points, some write it all out. I get it can feel inauthentic that someone is reading it, but as long as it’s good information, it doesn’t really matter.
Pretty much every review on YT is scripted. This one is just really obvious 😂 But it's not bad. I would rather see that he's reading than listen those "ummmm.....what else....."

have you considered a lapel mic? might save your vocal chords and some blood pressure and let you auto-filter out the echo from the room

same case as mine
Maybe what make its expensive was auto fan level that follow laptop heat, its must connect to flydigi space station app to do that.

Thx man, i really needed this review, but i have question is it good for rog g513r series? Or should i go for gt600?
I would go GT600 because that laptops intake is a little scattered
I gave 17" RoG and bought gt600 a few weaks ago, it works great

It'd be nice if there were good cheaper options that do the same thing as these
