  • A classic one for the books! Enjoy listening. Michael Hutchence and Tim Farriss make a stop on JBTV in the 90s. Here we find out that Michael loved The Smashing Pumpkins! More vaguely of which can be found scattered on old archived newspages on the internet. Very relieved I downloaded this when I did, as it is no longer available from its original uploader via SoundCloud. Recurring lesson to learn, kids. Download and archive everything! You never know when it may disappear off the internet for people who enjoy it.
“We always had on music television so that we had an idea what was going on in the rest of the world”- INXS shares some of their favorite music videos and chat with Jerry in this throwback podcast.
In this historic episode of the JBTV podcast, Jerry takes us back to 1993 with an archival interview with the Australian new wave rock band INXS. JBTV dedicates this special episode to the memory of INXS’s talented former lead singer, Michael Hutchence. The band chats about the pub scene in Australia, their reading lists, and their favorite Chicago venues. Between topics, the band selects some of their favorite music videos from the present and the past, which range from “God Save The Queen” by The Sex Pistols, “Creep” by Radiohead, and “Today” by The Smashing Pumpkins. They also talk censorship, the benefits of playing club shows, and bumping into Jimmy Page at Disneyworld.” ― Yak Channel.

Michael passed away November 22, 1997. Great interview though!! It's always nice to hear his voice, especially when he's laughing and in good spirits!! Miss you so much, Hutch!!!! Gone, but never forgotten! 💚
