I tried everything but this code don 't work for me because of hash .. it gives me num_rows 0...code works perfectly for my other tables ( i already used it on age/business and other users profiles that i want to allow my users to change... it works nice even on changeprofile picture (with some adjusts i did it really fast) thx for your code , i hope i will find a guide to make my change_password too... on my register form i hash my passwords with password_hash($password] , PASSWORD_DEFAULT) ... $password its $_POST['password'] ...

use username field instead of password field , and check for duplication b/c the username set to be unique in the database
