I can't find any cable which fits into it, even though I have loads of cables which look like they should fit. Is it a one off proprietary thing that only Bose use?

This would have to be the WORST consumer electronics item I have ever purchased and used. I am an IT person, so I have advanced knowledge when it comes to networking and IT in general. I can honestly say that I have never experienced a trouble free session with this product. IT IS ABSOLUTE SHIT. Bose doesn’t care. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
This is Awesome, I have it set up on my Soundtouch app along with 4 Soundtouch speakers. Now I get sound from my main Polk speakers through my Yamaha receiver and the 4 Soundtouch speakers all at the same time, filling the entire main level of my house with sound. I have never had an issue with this device, it was easy to set up and connect and control. I do not understand the negative comments, what issues are you having.
