Bose SoundTouch 10 Review. Wireless Speaker Product Review - Audio EnVision Mesa, AZ Home Theater, Whole Home Audio and Home Networking, Home Automation. This Speaker is great because it not only can link up to your wifi, it can be used as a stand alone bluetooth speaker as well! It has 6 preset buttons which are easy to program and can pull up any online station on demand without the need to use the app.

Bought one yesterday and I was really ampped to get it home and set it up. After multiple attempts it just wouldn't accept my Network Called tech support and after 2 1/2 hours we still couldn't get it up and running. Taking it back to the store to exchange it for another. Hopefully I'll have it going sometime later tonight. The Bose Tech guy was really trying his best to get it going but after trying everything in the book he finally had to give up and suggested that we take it back to the Bose Store for repair.

Sorry you had that experience, BOSE usually has really great tech support.

I'm interested to see your opinion on how this compares to Sonos Play:1 when it comes to sound quality.

Great idea, I might just have to do a video and compare them apples to apples. Thanks!

SONOS PLAY:1 has comparable sound, I prefer this sound over the play1, and this unit has more options for sources. SONOS is my favorite platform overall, but this is a great sounding speaker.

I prefer SONOS over Bose in sound.

Okay got my Touch 10 up and running using two devices(Androids) connected to the speaker. Now I'm having trouble setting the presets. I pressed preset one for iHeart then preset 2 for Pandora but they aren't being memorized.

David, it should be a press and hold for the buttons. Sorry for the 2 year late reply!

I could not get my SoundTouch 10 to "Play All" with my Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. It plays one or the other but not both like it's supposed to. I will be returning the SoundTouch 10. :-(
If anyone has any advice, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks!

    Question?
I'm looking at this receiver which is bluetooth and wireless. I'm trying to find some speakers that are also wireless that can work with this receiver for a surround sound. I am looking at the Yamaha sound bar as well. This is the receiver. Yamaha TSR-5830 7.2 Channel Network AV Receiver.
Could you help me out with a good way of doing this. I am building a house so the budget is low.

Best wireless surround sound I have used is the SONOS Playbar. It's not a receiver, so you will need to connect your HDMI sources to the TV and then an Optical Toslink to the soundbar.

hey homie, how can you say that speaker is wireless? if you need to connect it to the wall for power? and it has no battery.

Haha great observation. Wireless is implied, but everything needs power. I guess until everything has a nuclear reactor inside we are stuck with wires.

Do we have to change the wifi every time we move the speakers to another’s house

You can use the blue-tooth setting and the audio-in for any location, but when the speaker is relocated or your wifi settings change you will have to go through the setup process again on the Bose Soundtouch app. Sorry for the late replay, I'm getting back to posting again.
