Paul Mitchell would be a perfect appointment as our head of recruitment. He's exactly what we need. Adding Dan Ashworth as our sporting director aswell we'd finally have a proper footballing structure in place where our club will finally operate in the right way as it should be. We'll finally be making proper strategic planning for the long term instead of pushing money up the wall like we've done for numerous years. Another mega top video Sam as always.

yes, but it won't work with Erik ten Hag. This guy needs to go. He only rotates the squad when injuries happen, he never gives youth a chance they deserve. It was the same in Ajax where he hardly ever rotated squads.

Great piece. A big takeaway is what Mitchell said about ManU (paraphrasing) "They are a long way from the SAF era". Football has moved on so far in all facets, not just on field. The club can't be run the SAF way today. As fans we need to cut the cord with the past and move on. Importantly accept this is going to take while and forget about whose fault it is.

Alan Smith wow there's a blast from the past,i thought he was an amazing talent. Do you remember the players Southampton was churning out! It was like a conveyor belt of young raw talent. And watching this video as shown exactly what Mitchell has achieved that i,certainly didn't know about,he really is the real deal. And his usage of academy's and the age of players he goes for if,bringing new talent in,speaks for itself after watching this video. Big Ups Uptv. And did you say Stalybridge he lives,I'm about twenty mins from there where i live,(just a little bit of useless information from me)!

Great video, but I still highly doubt we get both Mitchell and Ashworth. Pick one... if its Ashworth, then Mitchell will probably go to Liverpool. If it is Mitchell, then Ashworth will probably stay at Newcastle and Liverpool will scout another sport director

It’s easy to watch games and recommend players. The key thing is using data and carrying out due diligence on a player it’s players mental ability to play for the elite clubs performing at the highest level week in week out.
