Slow for me. Clothing is really oversaturated so I'm moving away from it into non-clothing items. The non-clothing is doing well on AMZ. Mercari has had no sales this year. It's the last platform I think about listing on. They haven't improved the site & features for sellers.
Whenever I made offers, I got 0 replies, that's for Posh and Mercari. I wait for the buyer to make offers to me.

My Poshmark sales are finally taking off after a slow summer! I sell only women's clothing, accessories and home decor, mostly vintage or NWT. I have 3000+ items listed, everything is priced over $20+ and my average sale is $40. My sales have gotten better because I offer 10% off plus $5.95 shipping to all likers, and a generous 30% off bundle discount on 3+ items. My average cost of goods is under $5 and I net at least $10 net profit on each item. Here's hoping for a fantastic Q4 for all of us resellers!!!

Yes everything was cross posted everywhere. I've no clue on eBay, but I think we do need to be more careful about sell through rate when picking up new items

Kat I think ebay is doing something weird. My daughter listed a bunch of licenses plates for me. I can't remember her ebay so I just looked thru the plates. Last time I ran across some of yours. Well the other day I looked thru all the licenses plates and never found you or mine
I had to call my daughter to ask her ebay name just to find ours. It never showed any before I looked up her name
I went thru all the plates ebay showed that they had listed. We have about 30 posted and didn't ahow.any.of.yiurs either. Might be why sales are.slowing.down. they are.not showing all to everybody for some reason.
There are 1000s of license plates listed though, so unless you search for exact year and state it might be hard. But I do agree the search is wonky sometimes

A friend of mine has a picture like the middle one of the 3 Italian pictures you sold. You listed it as "Praying Girl." When I researched it for my friend, I found out that it is actually a boy. It is from a story in the Bible. It is the prophet Samuel as a boy. You can read about it in 1 Samuel 3. I was so surprised by that information so I thought I'd share!

It's really slow now as well. We are getting the same amount of sales as we start pretty low, but the average is only 1/3 what it was

Hi on the Geisha bowl, you didn't say miniature in the title. Also you could have listed it in doll house miniatures? Just think you could have gotten more for it if you called that out. On the other side of the spectrum, I can't believe what you got for the three frames! We used to buy those in the 1970s, from Caldors, which was the Walmart of the day. Outstanding sale!
It was a bit big for a dollhouse though I feel, so I don't think it would fit in a standard one as I would think more 1" to 1.5" would work

I'm not sure it's a problem with eBay, my posh is virtually at a stand still also. I think it has more to do with the rising costs of gas, groceries, utility bills and practically everything in life. People are probably being much more conservative with their spending.
Some things are still selling though. We had a $700 day on ebay Wed

When I had my booth in an Antique Mall I sold a lot of those Italian Metal Frames. I beleive they were made in the 1930's
I entered this too soon by accident, LOL. Anyway I sold mostly the Floral Pictures. I dont know why exactly but every one of them I could find sold very quickly. I dont think I got as much money for them as you did though!!

You can remove the wax by using a heat gun. I make candles, a tip for you.

Selling changes often. If you watch a lot of you tube resellers, look into their experience. If they started at the start of the pandemic, sales were crazy high for a couple of years. It started coming back to “normal”. And now the economy seems to be having an effect (similar IMO to 2007ish).
There are lots of ebbs and flows to reselling especially on eBay. If you do as Kat is doing - you’ll be mindful and re-evaluate how and what you’re selling on a regular basis. You have to roll with the punches. I’ve been selling on eBay since 1998. So I’ve experienced this personally many times.

Hey Kat, ? abt using LP and other marketplaces with prices different than eBay. For example, prices on Etsy are usually higher ithan eBay in certain categories. Does LP allow you to change the price for other marketplaces?
Yes you can change when you post to each platform. I only increase for etsy

I leave it typically unless it's a thrift store or clearance price (I peeled the clearance price off of it)

400 in one week on eBay? That IS slow for Kat! I have a question about blocking other users on eBay. As far as I know, if you block a user on eBay, they cannot buy from you but they still CAN message the hell out of you. Is there any way to block them from sending you messages?
For the weekend, but yes still very slow normally at $1000, but I haven't been listing much on eBay. If you block on computer there is a box to check that also stops them from sending messages

Could you share with me what source do you use to pay postage on items where you pay postage. I find the USPS click n ship site postage is high. Is there a lower priced option? Love your videos. I have learned so much.
I buy my labels on the platforms, if you're not selling on platforms then I suggest pirateship, but shipping isn't cheap anywhere anymore

I live in Minnesota and there is a thrift shop called hidden treasures thrift shop, and there is alot of great values there. And alot of the prices are very reasonable. And alot of ANtiques and it is a grant store, you might have one wher you live.

Hi Kat, I’m a new seller on EBay. I’ve never received a negative review until now. The seller didn’t read the description and criticized her purchase , said I was giving false advertising . I’ve gone from 100 to 85. I contacted the buyer, I gave her money back ,but she hasn’t responded. Is there anything else I can do?
If it is very clear in the description and she spoke about what was in the description in her review then you can ask ebay to remove it. I message them on ebay for business on facebook.

How many times do you list an item that takes a year to sell ?
Most times just once unless I'm checking to do end and sell similiar which I will do if items have been listed 3-6 months and not sold, but I do not always check this
