Talarmaru i think 4th chat is useless because you can already say "defend our goal zone!" By tapping the mini map and tapping team goal zone. And "score some goals!" With the opponent goal. And the classic "check it out!" And if you tap on enemy it says "let's attack **enemy**!" So i recommend replacing it with watch out for surprise attacks so you can warn the teammates who rip ray ray to kill the enemies first.
Sometimes, if you know what you’re doing, ripping Rayquaza is a game winning choice. For example, if you have good secure like Decidueye Spirit Shackle, or if the enemy is getting stalled out by teammates.

Resonant guard and cursed items are excellent on defenders, the cursed items especially when you have moves that can hit alot of enemies to spread the anti healing onto everyone.

Biggest mistake even in experienced players is not knowing and understanding every pokemon or at least their moves. Attacking a enemy forced in recall by Sabeleye can throw the game sometimes, you have to know what the enemies moves do so you know what moves to stun them out of or to avoid chandelier guys imprison. I play rollout wiggly and i can deal up to 100'000 damage in a game if the enemy doesn't adapt their positioning. Players that know rollout and adapt can make me only do around 30,000 in a game. Simply knowing what rollout does and knowing how to avoid it can stop me from doing what i need to do. Teammates can also give me a hard time by shoving enemies out of a good rollout or they can help me by shoving the enemies into a cramped space. Please at least try to have an idea of what moves do so you can adapt and counter them properly. Especially in this hex Gengar meta, just play safeguard blissey and pray yall.

Play the meta Pokemon, sounds like meta ambush I mean they new players they have no idea what BIG difference between on ultra class and master class, they're should play defender or supporter to help the team instead of thrown the game and think you are over powerful and carrying the game
Super held item is really good just dont care about what role your gonna use just max these held items there are a must (scope lens, muscle band and a focus band) there are a must and you can level 20 the others which are rapid fire scalf, razor claw, exp wise specs and weakness policy there being used for most Pokemons if your unsure what to max out what to use and level 20 held items can still be very much used for rank there doesn't make difference between level 30 held items if it does its just barely or not even that

Super held item enhancer I use on Leftovers, it was good item for defender until Resonant Guard come out, it even better
