BEST Version of Lady of the Camellias so far! With BEST dancers Svetlana Zakharova and Vladislav Lantratov, in that combination. Svetlana is exquisite she moves with beautiful seamless tragic elegance & artful expression of emotions and Lantratov is emotionally convincing, passionate, artful + strong in everything he does & with masculine elegance as always. Fantastic, not to mention great fitting use of Chopin deep complex emotional music. Art!
Wow. I must say i have never seen dance and music come alive together so vibrantly... In such unison. The piano became the dancers, the dancers became the keys. I am mesmerized.
@@flone9872 yes it does ! I play the piano and violin since i was little (well , actually its been a while since i dont) , and as a ballet dancer , (and a piano lover) it's a dream come true this entire ballet blow my mind , the piano concerto no 2 in the first act Is so majestic, not mentioned ballade 1 and andante spianato and grande polonaise brillante in the third act , the sensation throw your soul and body are ineffable.
@@constanzaferrer4672 , wow, we are so much appreciated the comments from ballet dancers, it confirmed how we (as ballet lovers) view the piece, I love Chopin, I know it's hard to dance like this, but don't know how it is , not to mention they have to play the roles.
MOLTO composito questo balletto che unisce elementi di carattere espressivo psicologico ad un'esecutivita' di elementi complessi realizzati quasi d'acchito e con VIVA impressione di naturalezza. BRAVISSIMI.BIGHIN GIULIO RENZO
God, how much I cried watching this! What words, in what language can be used to describe such beauty????? Devine choreography and dancing. High praising, the highest, to the Russian School of Ballet. Incomparable, irreplaceable. Please for the love of God, do the choreography as well as the PIANIST!!!!! Mesmerizing.
I studied Opera for a year and as most classical schools go, we went hand in hand a lot with the orchestra and the dancers. This performance brought tears to me eyes for so many reasons. Brought back a lot of nostalgia. Thank you
I just saw the Bolshoi Ballet broadcasting of ‘the Lady of the Camellias’ in cinema with Svetlana Zakharova and wonderful Hamburg Ballet’s Edvin Revazov. But, to see her and Vladislav Lantratov here, with an incredible chemistry, I cannot wonder why the Ballet did not keep the casting as this. Yes, in the video, the wish of John Neumeier to have Edvin Revazov dance for the video, and I am not lessening his dancing here. But, still, thinking how it would have been if we had a chance to see Vladislav Lantratov in the video streaming.
I FULLY Agree!! Vladislav Lantratov is just excellent. He always goes the extra mile and is always artful, elegant, and emotionally honest and convincing in everything he does. Lantratov and Svetlana have the best most convincing chemistry. They're magical together. They're version is the BEST by far.
So beautiful... both are amazing dancers... love the whole ballet Lady with Camilias and watched it from Paris Opera with Bullion bt this left me lost for words.
Actually I'm about to perform this and am arranging with a ballet couple. I heard Lang Lang do this and he played it with very subdued highs lows and really quite slowly. Would that be easier to follow?

people can say whatever they want about Svetlana. But she is an authority and presence that only the very few have.
What do they say?
@@ottobittencourt771 I was wondering the same thing, she is considered by many the greatest ballerina of our time.
Svetlana? But this is Natalia Osipova.
@@FannyPlusvi umm no, this is Svetlana.
She's way too frantic.
I don't know what captures me most: the fantastic dance of these two or the fantastic music of Chopin's Ballade...
True, this ballet attracted lots of piano lovers.

This is so bloody hard, the hardest contemporary I have never seen, and yet with
such stormy intensive emotions, goddess lost my words!
Pointe on such tempo just unthinkable plus the lifting, then all kind of plots and expression.
They made all those superb and easy.
I am back, thanks YTB put it on my playlist. No one has such abdominal muscle strength to hold her postures in the air.
Flone A
I know, so good! I wonder where I can find the Full version?!

Thanks,, a real ballet love!
My pleasure !
First time seen a piano to be played in such fashion that keys are on the stage in the air and everywhere.....
A música suprema de Chopin se presta para um ballet assim. Não podia ser melhor.
The dance of life, love, longing and beyond.....
John Neumeier choreographed with music by Frédéric Chopin
Oh to witness this performance in person🥰
Svetlana is magnificent.
She really is!
I have this whole ballet on DVD with Zakharova and Revazov, it's mesmerizing and sad.
Actually I'm about to perform this and am arranging with a ballet couple. I heard Lang Lang do this and he played it with very subdued highs lows and really quite slowly. Would that be easier to follow?
The hard part is to find a ballet couple, did you find them? have you performed it yet. break a finger :-)
E dopo...più tardi....emozioniamo..
Tra la somma Verità e la somma menzogna la diversità è davvero poca!
She is magnificent! Those feet!
Farò tutto il possibile per dimenticarti!
Why they're opened her clothes? I didn't understand
That is not part of the dance, but it is part of the plot.
Il lupo perde il pelo....
Che tipo di spumante usate?
E' dunque questo il male più profondo? Tacere a volte è acconsentire!
Le mie illusioni sono solo ridicole .....
Mi scappa da rider...
Troppo tempo...troppi inganni...troppe menzogne....
