T-34 have slopped armor, but quite thin and bad Constructicon. Average gun, average speed. Inside is cramped, makes the crew stress and hard to do their job in the field. Hardly have a good time againts great German tanks. But Tovarisch, 150 cannon of this shit metal box shooting at the same time at a Tiger will still gonna hurt them, real bad.
Not enough. For Sturmpios for instance sure you spawn with a little less resources but it hardly makes up for it. I mean Soviets for instance get 40 more manpower at start but instead of a super strong 300 manpower unit they spawn with 170 cost engineers that are basically useless against Sturmpios. The winrates speak for themselves. When one side has a 6% advantage despite matchmaking pushing everyone towards 50% it's pretty obvious. But the game is fun anyways so eh. Just wish they had balanced it better. @@CalDoggyDaddu
Sturms are a noob trap tbh. Super expensive and used poorly by most axis players (also countered poorly by most allies since they are very easy to counter). The REAL problem isnt axis bias. Both sides have really OP units and abilities, you might just be blinded by only playing allies so much, as the Germans have 'easier' to use noob friendly units but the allies objectively have more powerful abilities and unit variety. The real problem is every other engineer unit is just so terrible at combat, I understand theyre not front line troops but seriously, 4 MP40s cant beat a conscript squad, or a brit inf section up close?
They are expensive…yes so can I start with shock troops and pretend they are engineers also… no didn’t think so. Start of the game should be roughly the same in lethality. OKW start with a disgusting advantage.
It’s the machine guns for me. Soviets have a very narrow arc of shooting and take forever to surpress, Mg42 covers like 140 degrees and suppresses in like half a burst 😂 ridiculous. American’s have zero counter to an early sniper and just suffer manpower bleed that forces you into LT or wait another 50 fuel for a Stuart. American mortars are subpar at best being outranged with poorer accuracy than axis. Even Pershing can’t reliably pen a tiger let alone a king tiger from the front. Stukas/panzerwerfers only equal is katyushas as land mattress and calliopes are doctrine dependent. If you’re a half decent axis player you really shouldn’t lose.

That cheeky TNT your teammate placed in the beginning next to the enemy was just hilarious 😂
I remember when Coh2 allowed offmap abilities in enemy's base. It was too much fun :D

It's a shame this game is so Axis biased. Stuff like starting with Sturmpios for free is just insane.
They're better but they cost more no?
