I didn't know that there were actually people who had allowances for doing chore and still wanted more until my younger brother and sister started trying to get money for doing chores.
me and my older sister were always told to chip in when we were younger and if you work hard there is a chance you will get rewarded on some occasion. In my opinion that is a pretty good deal.

For the last one I wouldn’t let my kid go to a part with alcohol and no supervision, she either said she was 16 or 13, couldn’t make it out. But a lot of the “nice parents” sounded like they didn’t care and their kids were spoiled, like him not looking away from the game to speak. No I’m not old either
yeah kinda, nice parents are the ones who talk it through with you no screaming and willing to work it out, they also reward you when you accomplish something even if its just saying "good job im proud" and they also give you freedom to hang out with people. Strict parents scream at you if your grades start to lower beneath 90% and instead of saying "good job" they would say "so what, that's what you are supposed to be doing" they never let you speak back or correct them if they are wrong and you have to tell them exactly who you are hanging out with their exact birthday, where they were born, and their entire family's history.

But, my kids tell me everything, we talk, we laugh, we rarely argue, they don’t get into trouble, and if something does go wrong in their life, I’m the first person they come to.
