Now they are headlining a brand that is based off how they started - streetball, love for the game, and trusting their brothers. The Next Chapter has been and continues to be on another level. J Lew really leveled up, but Moon just is the most consistent two-way player on The Next Chapter.
Jlew has the same issues. He can’t shoot or slow down after accelerating. He’s too focus on being shifty then loses control and can’t score the ball
@@samueltrinh3850 That's part true, but it goes deeper than that imo. Moon clearly has a natural athleticism that gives him flexibility and bulletproof ass knees. If his shot is off he can just pivot and elevate to score like he's 6'4 or something. J leww is quick but his lack of jumping ability needs to be worked on. Jumping is a big part of the game and if it's the same knee problems then he probably needs to spend some money on a physical therapist to see why jumping hurts his knees so much. Knee pain at his age is probably a flexibility problem anyway (Hip Internal Rotation, etc.) Also this game it looked like both of them couldn't go left that well but Moon picked up on it from J leww and exposed that weakness a bit more.

Man I love the fact that J Lew cried at the end. That’s REAL PASSION. You can tell how much he wanted it. I expected moon to win but I would have been happy if J Lew won too tbh and he almost did. I feel like he just got tired and was settling for jump shots when he probably should have attacked the basket because off the dribble it’s so hard to guard him. This was a hell of a game from both of them. They’ve both grown so much over the years. S/O to Friga and Scotty for being the BEST and what they do!!

I remember last season he lost 3 or 4 in a row and didn't seem to have that spark. He almost seemed to give up on ball. This season, he's leveled up and is playing with more heart and passion and this game was incredible because of it.

The way the game was called it seem like not only the fans wanted lew to win but the refs too. The composure moon posses with his IQ is insane. Then when jlew playing motivated bro his will to win the energy he gives off is contagious. Win or lose when lew playing like that it’s very exciting to watch. Good game fellas yall both really showed off the defense in ya game and it’s really something considering they both is shifty and make tough buckets.

RESPECT to both players. A tough matchup between Moon & Jlew. At the beginning, Moon struggled with his shooting. Jlew took advantage of this and played extraordinary offensively. This was literal Blood, Sweat, & Tears. Both guys played with passion towards the end trying to make every point count and they were tired in the midst of it. They played hell of a game!

Missed the premiere, but man did this 1v1 happen at the perfect time... Played out like a Dragonball Z fight. JLew turned ultra instinct, and Moon adjusted by doing the same. I was really rooting for JLew and honestly he had it in the bag, just the basketball gods have bigger plans for him. It's King Kai time Jlew!! Start of the 2nd arc. Best iso basketball I've seen in my life.
JLew’s drawback is his inconsistency with his shooting. He def could’ve won that if he made those open shots in the beginning 💯. But I did say on yesterday’s post that if JLew don’t hit his shots, it’s gonna be a GG for Moon .
i personally feel like his biggest drawback is his sudden inconsistency with his lays. back in the day he could make them 1 foot outstretched same side lays 24/7...but nowadays it just seems like he smokes them way more than he actually makes them. its depressing to see cuz not only is it literally his signature, but it's also 100% his most unguardable move a few notches above his elite tween cross pullup middy. hurts to say but he definitely needs to get back in the lab with those lays man...they just not going down like they used to for some reason

You gave your all your work physically is showing so it’s never a loss.
Mentally you have to find a space of intensity but not stress as you play you are draining yourself and not reacting to the defense at that point. Good game there was no losers there. Moon is so tuff to play in a 1v1 his mentality and confidence is crazy plus honestly I have never seen someone become a great shooter so fast. You definitely been putting in the work.

You can’t teach what Moon has for a gas tank, and how he performs while he’s under pressure while he has no energy left! Very few people can still hit tuff shots while they are that tired and Moon is one of them 💯! He also has age on his side , but well played to both guys…instant classic for 1v1’s amongst guards! 5V5 is a whole different ball game, I can’t wait to see who comes out on top, this whole season has been a movie with more to come!
