@@ChasingSnow of course it is not a big ski resort, but it goes up to almost 3000 meters above sea level and it is a really relaxing beautiful village.
Easier. In fact I think they are easy peasy but I ski there every day so I am biased. But yeah-pretty easy and short. In Austria these would be considered red. Bear in mind this is the lower and easier part of the resort. The better stuff is at the upper part ( Yastrebets)
It is difficult to compare my friend. I was suggesting cat ski which is going up with snowcat on the mountains and take enormous free ride terrains. However, i agree with you that popova Šapka ski center is a way behind borovets in terms of chairlift, available grooming piste and overall organization.
Youre back in Borovets! And this time with decent snow
Yes, covering the parts that were closed last time... :-)
Love seeing a snowboarder on a flat trail
I think a good business idea is to make retractable poles for boarders ;-)
Hello good to see you back with balkan series. Is it always this busy these resorts or you were there during the new years holiday season ?
I think they are generally busy, more so during holidays... and I was there just after new year...
I can recommend you to come to Vals in Switzerland. Cheap tickets but one of the best ski resorts in Switzerland.
Thanks for the tip! I will have to check it out... I ski a lot in Switzerland...
Define “cheap”

@@nocu Cheers! Definitely one I'll have to check...
You are in the mature part of Borovets here are the people who learn and can't ski
How do they compare in terms of difficulty to blacks in France and Switzerland?
I think you can find easy and difficult blacks all around Europe but France and Switzerland have some famous long very difficult ones...

Try the tunnel alp d huez or Swiss Wall avoriaz area 😊
@rossjay4945 yep I’ve done those, I’ve never skied in Bulgaria and was wondering how it compares to the big alpine resorts.
Mozesh da probash cat ski na popovoj sapci ako volish free ride. Iznenadicesh se.
Borovets e много по хубаво от Попова шапка . Няма никакво сравнение. Бил съм един път там. Боровец е най доброто място за ски на балканите !
