My best friend decided to become an agnostic after listening to this song (first time he listened to the original ver) because he finally concluded that human would never know how to describe God. And he meant it in a good way, because like the lyrics itself, "what if God was one of us?". He even stated that maybe God's in every one of us, maybe we didn't have to be so deliberately seeking for Him because He's in everyone, and He is not determined by only a religion, maybe every religions lead to the same Highest Matter but in different approaches. He died of lung cancer last year and still be one of the wisest friends I ever had. Rest in peace, bro. His life is truly an inspiration, and I still listen to this song to remind me of the goodness he always brought
I've never seen such a strong contestant in The Voice where I really thought, she's so amazing she should win like Sarah Simmons. And then she doesn't win it or even come in the last 3-4, crazy... I'm sorry but the people that are left have no real unique quality in their voice like Sarah has. The show is called "The Voice" and she had the best voice.
