Filmed with an Inspire 1 flown from the top of Sandia Peak. Please note, Sandia Mountain Wilderness is not a National Park and is not managed by the Department of Interior.
Alexander, Thanks for sharing this well produced video. I love (and have great memories of) the Sandias from when I lived there in Albuquerque some years ago. I did have a brief visit earlier last year. But, I'd like to get back again soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I lived in Albuquerque in the late 80s while serving in the United States Air Force and I haven’t been back there since and this is the first video that I’ve watched that makes me feel like I’m right back there again. Can you make more videos please, around this area? Thank you kindly!
Love the video it is very inspiring, Question who did the score for your video ? I like that as well you made it it fit into the video you presented thank you. I was looking for videos about anything showing the ridge between Pino Canyon and Canon de Domingo Baca ,AKA TWA canyon and found this lovely video .Very well done sir.
+Alexander Thickstun Last weekend I and my nephew hiked up to the ridge just south of TWA canyon and found it to be a rather harsh uphill climb however the view was incredible,I am really wanting to go back and look that area over ,Your video captured how incredible I felt being up there among the spires..
Kick Ass! It feels weird to ask, but I've noticed that you've green-lighted a few people to use this for various things. I would like to be able to use like 5 seconds of it for a video I'm putting together for the University. Would that be okay?
South peak is 10k ft but the trail only goes up 8K??? trail goes to the crest at the top. High finance is highest bar/grill in NM and has road access from east side of Sandias.
Beautiful! Certainly shows the majesty of the iconic Sandia Mountains!

I wish I could, but quadcopters have since been banned in the Sandias because of the reckless behavior of others. Glad you enjoyed the video though!
Great video thanks for sharing.

If you're passing through, make sure your vehicle is securely locked. And keep a close eye on it. ABQ is the car theft paradise.

Song?
Sure sounds like the soundtrack from Man of Steel. Superman.
Could've had so much more potential... No shots of the city from the peak? No northern crest? Anyways, good job

Looks like Afghanistan mountains.
I'm going to guess that you are a Scorpio.
