Note for anyone who watches this; you have to download Git the actual program not gitdesktop.. and he's right that python 3.10 is the one to download, I had issues with the newer python version 3.12....... 2 hours later I realized how important having 3.10 and not having git desktop was ffs😂
I have Python 3.7.7rc1 on c: drive that I need for projects what do I need to do so that I have stable diffusion on my d drive with the newer version Python 3.10.6 (on my d drive)?
Just add to path start typing enviroment variables in windows until it comes up, and add the python exe folder to PATH, and if you don't understand that, at least you know what to Google, and how to get there lol (Also, ALWAYS use Python 3.11 or 3.12 as 3.10 causes so many issues, unless the program requires it.
I just wanted to say tysm bro, especially for the arguments, they really made my shit so much faster, like actually tolerable, I almost went back to my API python program im making to generate but now im continuing to explore.
Hey Jacob! Yea those arguments are a big game changer, they saved my life lol. Happy I was able to help man, thanks for watching the video and have a great day!
You too!, I played around after watching your video testing ALL of the advanced args and its insane how slow some of them went, I ended up with this set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=--xformers --force-enable-xformers --theme dark --lowvram --no-half-vae You might want to make a note that people can go to settings in their webUI and disable live previews to save Vram!@@chukwubuikemoguagha
You missed the VAE entirely... You can't run SDXL with a REFINER. Which, funnily enough you downloaded the VAE version of the file, but not the regular... So grab the regular, and put it in models, and then move the VAE to your VAE folder lmao and then you are working correctly. That's not 100% of it, but it's close. If you look at the settings menu, under SDXL you'll see it asks how to refine, choose none if you need to, but I promise you, a refiner is what's needed to make 512x512 into 1024x1024 PROPERLY, as all you did was still produce a 512x512 just blown up Scratch that, you didn't even adjust the size LMAO
Good video bro, but I have a question, in the case of installing a Lora, do I have to drag it to the same models folder? or is it located in a different folder?

Its definetly a different folder, but I don't know where its located in Automatic1111. In Fooocus (just another webui) its under .../models/loras
