Do you continue to water them when they are covered? If so, how often?

No. If they are outside the moisture in the air should be enough. If they are indoors, misting them monthly should be enough.

I was recently given 2 plumeria plants and put them in the ground. Are pots better? Also, it now being November the leaves are falling off, is this normal or am I killing them? 🫣 Thank you for the tips and great to know you are also local to me!!!
