You had to go by Ragdump to get to where you were at. My buddy is the Mayor and most likely made every trail you road that day along with hundreds of miles of other trails that you didn't. That's a special place up there with amazing sites to see. It is terrible dusty this time of year and your right about the service road being more sketch than the trails in some spots. One year that road had rain ruts 3ft deep or more . Did Vince know anything about Ragdump?
@hardcoreenduro I have to tell how exclusive that area is up there. The group of gentlemen associated with Ragdump I would consider the father's of hard enduro. Most tràils the locals know are intermediate level, but the location of the best and most challenging are known by only a few. I've had the chance to ride up there about a dozen times. It's my favorite place to ride and most fun I've ever had on a dirt bike
If you break down in the middle of nowhere what do you do? it would be interesting to know what tools and parts you pack. I know the basic stuff but any tips on any other parts or tools that the average Joe may need to know!
Nice video bro what’s the name of the place and want to try it or we can go ride with you…riding rubicon this coming sat maybe you’ll like to ride with us
Oh man you’re doing rubicon. Be ready for a butt kicking ride. This area doesn’t have a name really it’s just north of oroville off the 70. If you get an off-road map. It’s north of pulga Cross road of Dixie and concow is where we staged. The trails aren’t marked so I don’t have a trail number for them. If you like rubicon there’s another trail called high lakes that is similar that starts by the chaparral guard station
@@hardcoreenduro not familiar with those area hahaha maybe you could let us tag along with you next time when you do ride hard enduro stuff if you don’t mind
You mention Horse canyon trail by Silver Lake. We ride that a lot after it melts and long valley trail around the other side of Silver. It is very similar to Donner. This one looks fun as well. Directions?
When is it usually ready to ride? I’d like to try that trail but would like to ride with someone that knows it. Hermit valley is another fun trail I like to ride but probably not hard enough to train for donner
Man the terrain and weather there just looks epic.
It was. Fun riding through the trees. Very Different from all the desert riding
This place looks rad!
Wish you could’ve made it there.
Very beautiful ride! this is one I could do. Crack open a beer and watch you guys do the work! keep the vids coming!
It’s hot. Cold beer on the way

It’s non stop learning. You learn what you can survive with to get back to the truck I’ll have to have a short vid on what I’ve learned to pack
@@hardcoreenduro Yes, that's what we were hoping for! thanks for your input and videos.

It’s just north of pulga . Stage is cross roads of Dixie and concow. Ride is to the north on unmarked trails.
Horse Canyon is closed to OHV now.. due to off trail riding according to Ranger.
@@thursmedia can you share the specifics/directions on this ride up by Oroville?
