It aint abt that, the game in console isnt just optimized enough to run 120 Fov, as the console needs to render more stuff and consume more energy, and since a console basically is a small pc, games need to be really good optimized in order to be able to change their fov's in console

Been hearing the new gen will get a fov setting in warzone 2, MW 2. Hopefully it's true just like when the vanguard integration happened I really thought they were going to add one but got disappointed even if went up to 105 fov I be happy with that anything a little higher than 80 anyways lol.
