i have same Sp1 of course differ mods.......however i changed my front brake to a brembo cause oem felt weak! also Guhl Motors ecu tuned it and she a beast now. other modes are full akrapovic, sliders all around, air filter, superspox 520 kit, and small mod here or there.
Tex Have a 2018 cbr1000rr sp. Ordered Galfer steel brake lines after seeing what nice mods you did to your bike. The lines don't come with any instructions just labels as you know. New to bikes this past yr. Never changed lines before. Any instructions/tips you can give me to make things go smoothly? Seems like Galfer doesn't provide any lines to ABS unit? Thought that would be critical? Thanks for posting your mods. David
Just a quick observation , You got a expensive bike and spent a lot on upgrades / Mods but cheeped out on a rear tire stand from Harbor Freight. I too bought a Harbor Freight stand and my bike fell on it's side. Looking at were your stand is lifting your bike it is not on the spools but in to close they need to be adjusted. Do yourself a favor and buy some good stands I went with Pit Bull. Question , Did you special order your break lines from Galfer using the online form or did you just speak to someone and let them know what type of bike you have ?
Yea, I need to get better stands. So far no issues with harbor freight stand other than the adjustment distance. I believe that I used the form and called them to verify color. I usually go with core moto because you can choose the colors for the ends and banjo bolts also, but they didn’t offer them for ABS.
@@texmex8615 Yea, when I bought my '08 CBR1K it came with a full exhaust and a power commander/bazzazz thing. Dont know if thats an ECU flash but its fast! haha, fast enough for me. Its has supercorsas on, so just lookin for sporty tires that are a little more safe in cooler weather, maybe wet roads too.
I have a yoshi slip on alpha t would any slip on work with those Akra headers not trying to spend money getting a full system after I bought my slip on already
If your slip on fit right where your oem exhaust was then it should. Ends at same location. The slip on i have on now fit the same as with oem headers.
@FaceRR yes the akropovic headers will fit with any slip-on. I have a m4 slayer slip on with the akropovic headers and it all fits now as one full system.
That’s what I thought too. I only changed rear sprocket 2 up. No issues. Not sure about the front. If we were allowed access to sports kit we could enter sprocket sizes in there.

Just saw your stand fail video. Good looking out. Is your bike ABS? If not I recommend going with core moto for the better color options.
@@texmex8615 Yes mine is ABS. I meant no disrespect I just didn't want what happened to me happened to you. Keep the shinny side up brother.
Nobody never mention the seat cowl.wheres the best place to get one that fit correctly

Where'd you get that red rear tire cap
I got it from the oem accessories catalog. Check with your local Honda dealer to see if they can get it.
@@texmex8615 definitely need that seat in the red n black color way doe... I already ordered the hugger in red👌🏼
@@rob_g_813 luimoto has that color way and I recommend getting the gel kit while you are in there!
I thought you can’t change the sprockets sizes on this gen

Dear God please take off the fake carbon fiber panels...
Mate that carbon engine and frame cover look cheap and tacky, it looks so much better standard.
yes i agree and it interferes with my cf frame covers now, but we don't have the nice looking bronze covers that EU bikes come with.
