Thank You, Gary, for the excellent video. I have toilets in an old apartment building, with rough-ins 14" from the wall. The floor is concrete slab, with cast iron pipe to the flange. Spacing in the bathroom is very tight, so I would like to move the flange locations, as well as installing the more standard 12" rough-in toilets. The 2" offset PVC flanges are not permitted in my local, and the property is a rental, so an offset flange may be a bad idea anyway. My thoughts are to open the slab and cut the cast iron pipe down sufficiently to use two 45 degree 4" elbows to achieve the correct spacing from the wall. I presume this would require successive cuts with the tool. Any suggestions on this idea? Also, do you have any idea whether the cutting wheels and O-rings used on your Wheeler-Rex cutter would also fit the old Capitol brand cutters? Sincere Thanks!!
It’s a great tool. I only wish Wheeler Rex would make one for 2” cast.
Nice! Where do I get the tool?
