Last time I visited Syria in 2008, when I was a 9 year old kid, it was a prosperous country...We lived near the Latakia Port and it was so amazing and I have fond memories of playing football in the neighborhood and eating special delicacies everyday. We visited Aleppo, Homs and Damascus and at that time it was flooded with western tourists and picturesque buildings....That 2011 Arab Springs, Civil war and further attacks have dented the country but not the spirits of people living there who survived the war....Kuddos to Paramvir sir to bring the Present Syrian life.....

Before the US and Russian interference, This place and other places in middle east were full of beauty and peace.
My dad was working in Syria for 50 years before he moved back to INDIA - he always says syrians are most humble welcoming people - damn he always tear up when watching the tv news when there is a war in syria - man he worked in GMOS oil company
Literally I cried when I saw the buildings. People are living in fear. People are so friendly. The boy who talks to you made my cry. They are so innocent. Oh god please stop the civil war. We are humans we are staying for few years on this earth. Life is short don't harm the innocent.God please help them.

Damascus and Beirut used to be most beautiful ,Cosmopolitan, modern and Prosperous cities in the entire Middle East just a 15 years before..they had been and they are very good friends of ours as Indian...
