Jesus Christ this is amazing WoW, Michael! Just Wonderful! It would be great if GIMP supported a batch converter. I mean, for example, I created the installation, and then I specify it as the main setting for converting all downloaded images or selectively. Thank You, Davies Media Design!
Maybe its because the source image is a scan of an older photo, but in my case GIM'C soften produces a result that is more surrealist than illustration. Looking for other options to remove the pixelization.
In this tutorial I apply exactly same but after smoothing image the face of my model get poor and all is good but there is problem with face of model , help me to correct it
The normal way to update it is to go to the site and download the new version. It will upgrade the current version you're installing. If you want to know when Gimp is updated, I recommend you subscribe to this channel. Michael is usually the first to create videos showcasing new version features.
5:49 Thinking that maybe use an edge-detect filter on the original image to produce a line-drawing layer. That would give less uniform, more organic-looking lines than a simple stroking of the path.
@@TFGourmet That's odd, it should be there. Are you looking under the "Artistic" tab? My only theories are that you downloaded it from a site that had an older version, or maybe there was an error in the installation of the plugin. Maybe try reinstalling it.

Should've included all the steps in one video instead of referring to videos... Now we've got to go back and forth. Needlessly overcomplicating things.
well your learning more that way and he has already repeated it so many times i think i would get bored of repeating it so many times so i dont blame him for doing that.

I recommend going to his site to get a nice list of Gimp tutorials, or checkout his RUclips channel.

In order to do this "tutorial" I need to do 20 other "tutorials" first :( But it was awesome to watch

yea exactly... don't forget the plugins too.
Another fantastic tutorial as always Michael. I've got some pictures of my daughter I'm going to do this to. She'll love it!
it would help a lot if you put links to all the past videos we need to watch to follow along. it takes longer than the vid to search for them
I cannot download the G-MIC plugin, it gives me an error message saying "The requested URL was not found on this server" , What should I do?
Exactly...
Congratulations for 100k 🔥
Thank you from Spain!!!
Very cool vid mr.Davies Media Design.
Waiting for non destructive editing in GIMP. Hope they release new update soon
"I'm not going to show you that here" is annoying

WTF IS THIS?! I have to do tutorials just to get through this tutorial?!?
mind. blown. 12 minute video :) would probably take me 4 hours to do it :) ... awesome stuff.
Hi, great video, can you please show how to make halftone picture (semi trasparant for DTF t-shirt printing)

G'MIC doesn't look the same as the preview when applied. What could be causing this?
in my version, G'MIC doesnt come with Artistic Dream Smoothing

GMIC DOES NOT WORK FOR MAC FOR ANYONE CONCERNED
Not as concerned as I am about your Caps Lock key apparently malfunctioning.
While I appreciate it is free, GIMP is ridiculously confusing and puts me off from using it any further.
thats why you have to learn to use it thru this tutorials
