Just in case someone find these keybinds helpful: Block - Q / E Reload - Mb4 Sword - Mb5 Shotgun 1 - Scroll up Shotgun 2 - Scroll down I find Mb3 (mouse wheel click) to be very tiring for my right hand and I this causes me to have my hand more tense and lose aim, so I don't use it all. Right click still flip ;p

I came back after quitting for 10 years .. I think I'll never be bored of it n if AI gets smarter I'm gonna create a new gunz with superb graphics for my grand children lol

@@severed_toast For me, I find certain moves easier with some keybinds versus others, so I use diff keys for diff moves. Like I enjoy R as my reload for simpler moves, but for harder moves like GDHS it simply won't work for me. Same thing with sword, I like Q for general mobility/moving around the map with flash step, but it's too cumbersome for more advanced tech (for me). I do think a new player should do their best to stick to one set of binds, maybe only adding extra ones after getting more experience.

If gladding, it will take adjustment, but having rmb set to block M4 to alternative fire/flip is super good and incredibly fast. that and a very low to no debounce mouse will make your life way easier.

Right click block is still definitely used, but since private servers use anti-lead there's more of a focus using guns as opposed to trapping people with swords. Also the Gladiator scene is smaller nowadays, or at least relegated to a select few private servers.
Personally R and E are very easy to use for weapon 1 and 2 with Q as sword and thumb button on mouse or E for reload. Best for comfortability and extended play time
well came back to gunz this year... played from 2006-2012 and I'm back now, I can assure you the best config is the one you reload in a way you can perform late dash. If you reload with R it is impossible..
I shift my keybinds over to the right by 2 keys. So I use RFDG for movement, freeing up the 1, 2, Q, E, S, A, Shift, Z and X keys to my pinky for additional button keybinds, using z for defence. I personally use right mb for reload and was thinking of using h as a secondary move left key, I currently use it for alt fire but as my left dash movements are my weakness, always feels awkward when changing weapons with E, T, Y, 5, 4, 3. However being able to use both d and h to move left will fix that issue. For specific situations where I'd need it.
im a ultra newbie heres my binds fire - leftclick sword - rightclick weapon1 - wheeldown weapon2 - wheelup reload - middleclick meds - m4, m5 block - shift flip - f i wanna have a better butterfly but idk where to put my block button, shift is awkward for me :(
OK, these are some major changes but I think they could help... Try putting your block as right click. Then make m4 / m5 your Reload and Sword. And just pull out your meds using keyboard buttons (like q/e or the default 4/5)
Idunno how people use 2 and 3 for weapons when their middle finger is already occupied with the most used movement W( forward) you'd have to stop moving forward to switch weapons frequently... that's why I use R and F for weapons, it's easier for universal movement

@@yand164 thank you for the kind words! Obviously I'm just a guy on the internet so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I trust freestyle gunz and FxP GunZ. They often trigger false positives on antivirus stuff because they are older software and have the ability to download stuff (patches for the game) to your machine. There are guides for how to whitelist the game folders for antivirus on the discords for the servers.
There are aimbots, shotbots, all kinds of unlegit things... but I just choose to believe not many players use them. (Lots get accused I think falsely.) I will say that especially for newer players sometimes it can be hard to judge what's legitimate, like it is almost unbelievable that a person can play so well, but it is very possible which is why gunz is so awesome!
