I am security at an Anchorage hospital. I am overwhelmed by this subject, it breaks my heart, it takes away the resources of the patients with real emergencys. What do we do? I keep trying to brainstorm this subject but get nowhere. It’s a problem that needs addressing.

With all the oil revenue money, Alaska can not build affordable public housing for the poor and homeless shelters, halfway housing etc.? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same problem In Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, the ER waiting room is always flooded with homeless people and drug addicts, they reuse bracelets to stay in the waiting room while real patients don’t get treatment or are forced to wait longer.

Who has to pay for the Sewer Tax? The Landlord
Who has to pay the Property Tax? The Landlord
Who has to pay the Water Bill? The Landlord
Who has to Maintain the Property? The Landlord
Who has only so long to fix something that the renter probably broke to get back at the Landlord? The Landlord
Who has to pay for the cleanup for The Tenants who leave a mess? The Landlord
Who has to pay for all of the Above if the Tenant doesnt pay their rent and still lives there? The Landlord
Who still had to pay for all of the above during Covid and no one was paying rent? The Landlord
And on and on and on
People tend to forget that the owners of the rented property still must pay these bills
So the next time these topics come up realize that property owners are not rich like most people believe
(And where in hell will that money come from if deadbeat renters will not pay their rent?)
