I do have courses and books. My design your 4-season garden course comes with a private community where you can ask questions. I'm always in the group.
I think at the time of recording this it wasn't complete. Now it connects to the walkway next to my back porch. It's never as simple as just copying what I did... Your space may be completely different. But my Plant Perfect Activity Book will take you through the process I use to lay out your landscape if you want to check it out. go.prettypurpledoor.com/plant-perfect
I saw the rock pathway on the blog, and hoped you would tell us how you did that? I'm obsessed with 'pretty rocks' and have collected many hoping to do some pebble mosaic projects. What I need though, is a sturdy pathway that will accommodate me and my works cart. Hoping you'll enlighten us about the pathway. It's awesome.
Could you recommend a 20- 25 foot tall cedar for a full sun location? I live in a zone 5 location in Ontario..something that doesn't bronze during winter...
I like cottage style gardens and arbors, but I don't like any hardscape walkways especially the ones with bumpy surface. I much rather have green belt walkways with low maintenance green groundcovers or even high quality mulch, and may be just some smooth surfaced square pavers for easier walking on rainy days.
Wait...Amy? I'm sitting here watching all your vids and I'm like "this chick looks like Amy." I read the channel info and "this can't be a coincidence." This is Lauri, Leigh's sister btw. Great Channel. Found you looking for info on seeds.
I knew as soon as my husband cemented the arbor in I had made a mistake….. 😂I should have placed it further away from driveway so I could have planted evergreens for privacy 😭😭😭😭😭
Wow very cool…, heard this information a million times.., between ur voice/tone and way your explaining it.., makes more sense…, thank you …
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Excellent tips and demonstration! I love your garden.
Thanks so much 😊

Thank you Amy for another great video!
Love this channel
Great tips
I would love to see kind of an aerial view. Does the path start on your grass? At your back patio by the back door?

It would be nice to see the follow up video. I cannot visualize how it is going to look. Thank you.
It's a bit late in the season for me to be able to do that. But, I always add updates photos to the website at www.prettypurpledoor.com/photos/
Do you have a video on the River rock pathway? I would love to do one but pathways seem so expensive and complicated
Yes I think you found it though since I saw your comment over there.

Eastern red cedar? You'd just have to do your research. Most Cedars turn a bit in the winter.
Hi Amy, what garden zone are you in? Enjoyed the information you shared, thanks.

Yeah that stinks. Always need to create a plan first. But we all make mistakes and learn from them.
Great ideas
