Good matches! My favorite challenge is to see how long I can stay in a Battle Arena before I get kicked from the arena or the host closes the arena. The success condition is that I need to have won the last match played in the arena for it to actually count. I love using the GameCube controller as well, though. I think a lot of Smash players who have been playing since the Melee days just got used to it so it felt more natural for Smash. The official Switch Pro Controller is perfectly fine but definitely not built to last out of the box. I've had like three official Switch Pro Controllers get the same left analog stick drift and I don't want to have to deal with that issue when using a GameCube controller.

I bought a smash branded official Gamecube controller because I wanted to play competitively, but my controller has really stiff and loud right Shoulder button. It's been a bit of a back and forth using them and I am not sure I like the GC controller
