- The trade winds have blown the adventure in. The second 4x4 track of Adams's 4-part solo South Island adventure, and it did not disappoint. Water features and b-lines galore.

I used to go in there with a series 3 Landrover up past # 3 hut and spotlight the flats. Along with dozens of other blokes. Ah, those were the days.
One of my favorite places to go camping. That bog hole almost swallowed my Surf on 33's. But it is fun. I have yet to take my Mitsubishi Delica L400 in there. Maybe sooner now than I expect. Great video, lots of good camera angles. And good on you for taking out someone else's rubbish. If we all do our bit like you, tracks like this will remain open. FYI There is a track to the left of Loch Katrine, but you can only go so far, as the farmer has locked the gate. But still a good drive, and rather scenic in the summer with all the wild lupins in bloom.
haha... that would have been a sight! Be interesting to see how the L400 goes.

China, I've got an offroad-modified GWM XSR. But it probably makes more sense to fly in and rent a Hilux or something haha. @@terra10nz

I did similar when I had jobs in CHC and Blenheim to do, end of November. Drove down instead of flying. Squeezed in Rainbow, Molesworth and Muzzle Staitions.
I think I'll try these Maxxis Razr MT's - they look like the perform well!

Hey mate, thanks for the Q. I'm running Maxxis Razr 285/70/17s or 33" in old money. Had to get an engineer to chop the body mount steel to get 'em in, but totally worth it. I rate the Razrs - weapons offroad, but not too loud and still grippy in the wet on tarmac driving, unlike some.
