No Tom Yum soup?? Some of the best, and a great comfort if you're feeling a bit under the weather. My mom and I used to go out and get Tom Yum Kai when we had a cold. When my friend (now roommate) was out with a bad cold, I was lucky enough to find a Thai restaurant near him that delivered, and I sent him some delicious Tom Yum Kai. While I've never had it, I've seen and heard about Soup of the Seven Seas - looks absolutely marvelous and I'd love to try it at least once in my life.

I grew up eating borscht. My maternal grandparents made theirs with beets, normal cabbage, potatoes, garlic, chunks of stew beef, and sometimes tomatoes. You could serve it either hot or cold, was good with sour cream, and always tasted better the next day. I'd often dip a piece of Russian (black) rye bread in it. If you didn't like garlic, you could flavor it with dill.
We, in the UK would probably know split pea soup better as lentil soup. Be it, yellow, red or green it's often a very heartwarming soup to have for either lunch or as part of your main meal or the day.

Here in the Philippines we call chicken noodle soup "chicken mami". Ingredients: Chicken meat, miki noodles (egg noodles), hard boiled egg, salt, MSG topped with onion leaks, black pepper and toasted garlic. Chili oil and fish sauce are optional.

I just wanted to share that I make a Really good potato soup topped with cheddar cheese!potato chunks, corn, green bell peppers, a little bit of pasta shells, chicken broth powder, and onion. Once the potatoes are tender, I top it with cheddar cheese and cover! Cheese is melted by the heat and steam!! It’s really good
