I remember being on the stream and laughing so bad because they are actually trying to look like they arent cheating
you realise these cheats cannot change your perks as you're in the game? only pre game or loading they can stack 52 perks.
which means they never had any intention of being subtle, just wanted to fuck around (you're delusional if you think you're that good you can kill a hacker, when he can instantly escape with the push of a button)
@@aromatic8565 Actually it depends on the exploit being used. Also no they would not be delusional. If a person killed a hacker they had all bets stacked against them given the fact that the hacker had way more advantages then originally given. That most definitely makes them good wether the hacker can unhook and revive or whatever. Now if you would like to argue that the hacker is simply just that bad then I would agree.

No it doesnt. FPlayerLoadoutData is only sent when match is loading. The only thing you could be referring to is unlocking gameplay modifier flags, such as "GameplayModifierFlag.AllowSelfHealNoMedkit" (self care). This wont work for boil over.

This still makes me terrified of the most subtle cheaters of all. And that's probably those who cheat on Gens. Unless you're standing there watching the Gen, you have no real way to tell if a Gen is getting done about 10 to 20 seconds faster than it should. Could be Prove Thyself. Could be two people on it. Could be them saving their Toolbox for late game. Someone can subtly cheat gens and you'd be none the wiser.
Would be great if there was a Replay mode, so we can rewatch the match from other player's perspective, sadly is a feature that will never come (devs said it)

You can really tell at 0:30 because when they reworked balanced landing they got rid of the grunting when you land. It literally says it in the perk description lmao

They then drop the item to a character that wasn't out at the time. Person 2, playing the character that came out later then picks it up and leaves the trial.

Had a subtle cheater in my lobby yesterday as well, I thought I was just bad but I couldn't catch them at all despite them not dropping and pallets, running in a tiny loop and running in straight lines. And when I decided to chase someone else, they just caught up to the chase and tried taking hits, and that's when I was like, alright buddy, you just exposed yourself lol
My favorite was I had a dwight who was speed hacking when no one was looking. But I did... I was running bond lmao. I had a flashlight and was playing bingo and cj was on there. I use bond to find randos and cj them, but I didn't cj him, I used bond to sandbag him then the killer and me were best friends and rode off into the sun set. The dwight just insta escaped the moment he was supposed to die lol.

There was this one time on Ormond when I tried telling the Trapper that the Feng was flying around, insta healing and shit by pointing at her and he just camped me in the basement instead.. The funny thing about the thing from yesterday was that when I confronted the cheating Nea with it, she just ended up insulting me. Hilarious.
I dont even play killer anymore, theres no telling how many games ive lost to hackers where i could not catch any of the survivors, it all makes sense now.

@@soulsy4384 I don't know why but my first reply didn't send so I have to type this all over again lol. Yeah, I took a screenshot, their name was "Quyion". They have an alpaca as pfp on their steam account. A few other hackers who were blatantly cheating, like flying, insta-healing, preventing hooks by hooking themselves etc, were a Dwight called ''call me batman'' and a Feng called "Broken Game". I even had a cheating Myers before who insta-tier 3'd and tried mori-ing everyone, their name was ''StupidCat97.twitchTV" and I kid you not, they were streaming how they were hacking while I was playing against them and they were so proud of it, lol. I can obviously not ensure that they haven't changed their name, but just beware if you see names like that.
I played against some "Subtle cheaters" the other night. What really tipped me off was the fact that pallets were respawning in places that I know I'd destroyed them. Then the fact that before the final gen popped, my NOED was cleansed and then not even a second later the gates were opened.
The the order at which things happened where
- Noed popped (cleansed hex totem notification)
- a solid 2 seconds later, the final gen popped
- exit gate immediately opens
It was a 4 man squad and 2 people in the squad had their profiles set to private.

@@soulsy4384 Two of the people in the squad had their profiles private so their names only appeared as **** to me. It also likely wouldn't matter what the names were of the other people because on steam you can just change your name as many times as you like. Not even sure if it was just the two with private profiles that were hacking or all four. But the two with private profiles did the bullying and engaged in all the chases. At one point I was blinded while looking directly at a wall. I don't run any FOV effecting perks. So that should've been my first clue.

Their name in my first game was demon firecracker (yes they literally spammed firecrackers all the time shit was annoying af)
Seccond match their name was cute and there they were just straight up flying around
@@soulsy4384 I don't think that was them. My guys also tried to play it off in a way more subtle manner up till the end when I started to wonder why it seemed like there were suddenly like 8 pallets around the main building.
Then like I said. Noed pop, gen done, and gates open. In that order (I very specifically heard the hex totem popping noise BEFORE the final gen was done. By a few seconds.) and then the gates were opened immediately after.
cheaters cant reset pallets, oddly the only thing bhvr did right. they can instantly reset them though, if you didnt break them.
7:44 was probably the funniest way to "subtle" cheat I've ever seen

i know it's a year later, but i just watched this and i do think cheryl was cheating. i don't see anyone else mentioning it but she teleports around the :46 second mark. one second shes on the other side of the tile, then almost instantly she's right behind him
@@cja6489 I think she faked going to the left and just turned to the right. You can see the scratch marks, and he was slow enough to let her do the turn without speed hacks.
I appreciate the videos Rapid, i just got into this game recently, don’t have any of the perks unlocked and i’m awful but watching someone who is good helps make me wanna play better haha

I played my first hacker on console, had DS when I never hooked anyone, he also summoned rites of judgment trails all over the map which almost crashed my game, the list goes on...
I wish we could solve this by just turning off crossplay but theres a lot less players on console playing dbd

i had a hacker who speeded with sprintburst when i saw him with undying value. I was like: Ok fine? And then he stopped 10m away and then started sprinting again with 150%!? I got him down with plague and im almost sure he would have instahealed if he wasnt fully infected because he immediatly got up and started running. I then afkd and he started screaming 1000x then spammed hooks and ran 150% infront of me until he realized i was afk and left. At least no hostage holding

I'm kinda glad, my first game with a cheater was actually nice. Though that hacker was really blatant, just running through the map at 1000% speed and healing anyone I down within a fraction of a second, but in the endgame he let me hook him trice (he escaped from the secon hook yeah) and sacrifice.
The boil over subtle has become more popular. This weekend alone there were at least 3 I ran into. They also had subtle speed hacks as well. I only had 2 blatant hackers

Probably just stacked Unbreakable ontop of it. Soul Gaurd's Endurance still activates from pickup even if there isn't a Hex. It's just that a Hex is needed to recover from the dying state endlessly.
Tbf that is an actual bug ATM tho probably did cheat themselves up I picked myself up verse a noed pig with soul guard, thing is all her hexes and noed were cleansed

They werent teleporting the entity felt sorry for them and gave them the nurses blink ability

The Mikaela also grunted when using Balanced Landing; despite BL taking away the sounds when you drop from a great height.
@@jinx6117 Doubt it. The speed boost she got lasted 3 seconds exact, with Lithe it'd start ticking from when she vaulted. Counting in the falling animation and stagger, by the time she got up it would've not been such a lengthy speed boost.
A great example of why the player count is at a decline.
It makes me want to get cheats just to combat them, like yeah im degrading myself by swooping that low but whats fun is outcunting a cheater

Well the problem with that is that they have an "instant escape" hack so even if you go through the effort of killing them they just click one button and the game gives them the escaped screen.

This shit happened yesterday, I thought I was playing a normal match until I picked up the second last survivor and last one just flies around a corner and gives me a kiss and flies away- I bursted out laughing…. They DC a minute later. (playing as Doctor)

idk what you're talking about I clearly remember that smash hit got a buff just the other minute ago where if you stun the killer you run at 115% for the rest of the game. smh witch hunters on god. Bro why though why do they cheat, like they get out and it's like okay... You were supposed to win lmao. Also the first group paid $20 a month for their cheats, while the second group pays $50 lol. They just got the better hacks you know, got them premium hacks.

What a fuckin legend, so good with Billy that you find it fun to go against subtle cheaters. Just shows that with enough skill, you can wipe the floor with most of them.
SBMM, the grind and this, cheating, blatend or not, is the main reason I've lost allot of interest in playing. I still play but way less than when I first got the game. Nice to see how well you handle cheaters. Hope your high MMR Billy keeps them in your games so you can remove them all. That way they get effed in game and then afterwords as well. Love it as always Rapid, keep it up.

A cool way to tell if a player has balanced or is cheating is the noise they make when they fall. Players with legit balanced landing don’t make the classic ‘grunt noise’ that you usually make when dropping!! If you hear a grunt after dropping and the survivor seems too fast it’s probably a cheater. Can be helpful in regular games too, to suss out survivor perks without actually seeing the action happen :)

You know, I just realized with that Mikaela at the start, at the beginning she jumps out of the tractor, and balanced landings away. Buuut, Balanced completely removes your stagger, your grunts, and the sounds of the fall. You wouldn't have heard her grunt when she hit the ground.
I go against so many. Feels like every 3-4 games I have a clip of survivors outrunning eachother

After 1 year and we still have our good old cheaters. I downed yesterday a Nea after so many loops, she felt faster than the other survivors and somehow always knew where I went, I played huntress and after some time after the last gen was done I downed him and you would think I hooked and killed him but no, the exit gate were opened and he was flying past me 😂
I remember having a cheater calling me "boring Killer" because I started camping and slugging with Billy (without add-ons) after 5 gens had been done, both exits on 99% and 16 meta perks in the play, so he had to cheat ofc to make the game bearable for his ass. Guess I should have just followed Survivor Rulebook and not try to also win a match. Damn me.

I played against a Feng about 2 weeks ago (around the time you posted this video) that was using the same boil over exploit.
The most obvious way to tell is they’re not even running the perk on the results on the screen.
That Cheryl in the first game wasn't cheating. It looked like normal crawl speed to me
The amount of subtle cheaters and cheaters is insane now in dbd. Every 1 in 5 games has at least a hacker as a killer/survivor, for me anyways. If I was crazy, I’d think this was Titanfall 2. Had a match earlier in the morning with a flying bill with a bunch of firecrackers going off and Insta completing gens. I didn’t find out until later in the game when the survivors gave up for some reason, then I realized
subtle cheaters are the worst, way worse than blatant cheaters. They want you to think they're really good / pro, when they're actually trash, it's like a girl who keeps saying she's seiso when she is seison't. Blatant cheater usually just want to troll or get revenge (revenge for whatever reason), but at least they don't care about what you think about them using hack.

I've suddenly started to run into either subtle cheaters or exploiters of a bug that causes scratch marks to just suddenly disappear on command, along with clipping through walls in some situations. Its a real shame.
At least Easy Anticheat isn't false advertising. It's advertising how easy it is to get around.
The MMR for killer side is not individual. I am not sure why people keep thinking it is. The devs have said its killers as a whole, ( IE, same for survivor side. ) and even the UI that you can mouse over says it.

Just shows how little BHVR care about the player base now. If they wanted to, they could change their anti cheat system to BattlEye, which would reduce the amount of cheating, and it is possible to do that, other games have changed from Easy anti-cheat to BattlEye, and it heavily reduced the amount of hackers that plagued the game. I can see this going the same way as Friday The 13th

I had a cheater once that I face camped as bubba because I knew they were moving too fast. Proceeded to use blatant hacks and held me hostage for 5 minutes before they got bored then in post game chat said I'm shit for face camping. I was speechless lol

Yea I'm not that good yet to identify subtle cheats but I'm pretty sure I saw one guy running faster than normal, I missed my M1's, I couldn't catch up for years and wasted lots of time trying to catch them. It's sad because when I see a cheater I just immediately alttab and leave them to their devices until the game ends, not letting them have their fun, but with subtle cheaters I might actually not see it early enough to do that.
im fairly new to the game, been playing since late december and have between 5 and 6 days played. this video, at 6:00 to be exact i realized that i played against a cheater on this exact map. I was Leatherface and they looped me around this exact pallet for a minute and a half, even with bloodlust up i couldnt catch them. this player even had the nerve to tbag at the exit gates. atleast now i know what to look for
I had someone try and say they were legit after dead Hard ing 5 times during a single 20 second chase
You will always see if a bad or average player is hacking but when good players do it, you will most likely never find out without external help (e.g. other survivors with bond/running battles etc). There is good players out there hacking, most likely more than one would like to admit but you may also never catch them. Even if it's just 101% movementspeed, it makes a huge difference but isn't noticeable by chase or observation alone.

I probably had Nea cheaters today, when I played Trickster. After all the gens I was chasing her and hit her with Trickter bat...she teleported 5 meters away, uninjured xd

That Tapp didn’t clip, dude straight up teleported. I’ve seen that cheat before where a survivor could teleport to a gen to either Gen rush or as an escape. It’s dumb, behavior really needs to upgrade their anticheat

That first game I don't think the Cheryl was even crawling fast but that Mikaela at the 4 lane had Lithe, I didn't notice her do anything else super blatant but the Mikaela you killed was defo cheating.. obviously, but I just think gotta inspect hackusations especially recently with dbd as everyone is paranoid about them
They where both hacking you can tell they’re even most likely queuing with each other they have exact same skins

Even looking at it billy moves at like 92% move speed when revving she wasn't actually zooming at the start, if I missed something fair enough but same skin does not always mean they are together, you gotta actually understand why and how they could do these things, as for cosmetics it's an event skin that was free could easily be all they had cheater had it cuz it's technically rarer than her other cosmetics

Maybe but I don't think the other Mikaela was cheating hell for all we know it could've been an altruistic cheater which would also explain why they let themselves die, but the whole suspicious point doesn't work for me, obviously one was cheating but you can't lump people together off a hunch

There are so many killers cheating too - I’m assuming those who cheat at one play both sides and cheat - if you buy cheats why not use them to max potential I guess … but I have been having so many walling killers and killers who suddenly get the MFing ZOOMS - hook you and go 300% speed across the map to find someone else.
