Wow, that's a tough decision. But I think your videos will get more views if you convert the Mosin. There's a huge number of people who want / have those.
Leave the K98 alone please. It looks like such a nice rifle. :) I vote for the Mosin Nagant. I'm not going to preach to you, but the Mausers and any WW2 rifles are getting harder to find and more expensive in the U.S. But if you use guns put together from parts or are not in pristine condition I can live with that or like one of those Persian Mausers converted to .308. I am waiting and looking forward to this project and more.
Sorry but that is not a new idea. They sell them in camping stores in Australia but they have less teeth and suck. Your one is probably better because your one has all of the teeth.
I vote Mosin-Nagant. Cheap and easy to find. Mosin-Nagant's are mud sticks anyway. Just don't ruin a Springfield M-1903. The Lee-Enfield and Mauser 98K are classics so leave them as is.
Super Duper project with the chain repurpose. Worked like a charm...you can't have too many toothpicks! I vote to convert the Mosin Nagant. The Lee Enfield is perfect as a bolt action. It would be criminal to mess with it. (see Bloke on the Range video.) The other bolt, I don't know that much about. The Mosin is pretty straight forward. "That's a Roger, Houston." :oP
Convert that type of rifle, where parts are more easy available, if sth gets broken... Nice saw! As some guy mentioned, a temporary counterweight will do half the work! Thanks!
Butcher the Trashgant. The soviet musket. also the K98 being a 1943 vintage has the possibility of intentional improper heat treatment and sabotaged alloys by forced laborers. No way would I want that potential grenade any closer to my face.
I vote for you cutting down the Mosin. There are more people with those than the Enfield or the K98, at least here in the USA. And I thought if others would like to try and do what you guys do, then more would have the same rifle to try on, just my thoughts anyway! Looking forward to the video...
the Mosin Nagant I would love to see one chopped all to hell. Oh that is the first time I ever seen a chain or cable type "survival" that really worked, most of the time those things use some kind of thin cable that does not cut through shit.
try and make an automatic saw mill sort of thing like self feeding even better if you could make it like wind or water powered! :) also great video again! :)
If you split the saw chain in the middle and reverse one half it will cut in both directions which is much better esspecially if you want to use with two people...
MOSIN NAGANT M91 (1944)
Convert the Mosin Nagant, it's a horrible rifle and anything you do to it will be an improvement.
No one will miss the Mosin heh
The mosin. it's the one you have the most of, so it's the least loss.
mosin
Mossy Nugget ftw
wow the saw worked out really good :D really looking forward to your aug project!!
+Survival Lilly -Thank you for watching 😆
LEE ENFIELD No.4 MK2 (1918)
Definitely Lee Enfield
PostapocalypticGarage I am from the UK so I will have to pick for definite the Enfield and it has supposedly got a very fast action.
Lee Enfield.
Don't wreck the Lee-Enfield. Practice on the Mosin, they are a dime a dozen.
I would grind down the teeth along the length of the handle so you're less likely to injure a finger or hand!
MAUSER Mod.98 (1943)
This plox!
8mm my first shot at big game
I choose you!
I'd like to see the K98 convertion because me and a friend are currently also working on an 98 convertion
Mauser 98

This has easily become my new favorite channel on youtube :)
Mosin nagant
Please do NOT butcher the K98!
Mosin! Definitely Mosin! Thanks for the video. I now think about all the chains I have thrown away. Will never waste another one.
mosin nagant
LEE ENFIELD No.4 MK2 (1918)
Mosin nagant for sure!
MOSIN NAGANT M91 (1944)
Is making your own toothpicks a joke for this channel. I'm a bit new to this channel so if it is plz tell me.
well nobody said they would make toothpicks using a chainsaw
This channel is the best kept secret on YT
Enfield
Mauser K98. Also, love the musical accompaniment - good choice.

Diggin your music choice. Now I know what to do with my little saw that gives me heart ache....THANKS
Butcher the Trashgant. The soviet musket.
also the K98 being a 1943 vintage has the possibility of intentional improper heat treatment and sabotaged alloys by forced laborers.
No way would I want that potential grenade any closer to my face.
Save the Mauser, Enfield because of the ten round mag, and the short bolt action. I've owned the Enfield, now I have a Mauser.
Has to be the Mosin doowds...... do spoil the Enfield.... please!! Peace
I vote for you cutting down the Mosin. There are more people with those than the Enfield or the K98, at least here in the USA. And I thought if others would like to try and do what you guys do, then more would have the same rifle to try on, just my thoughts anyway! Looking forward to the video...
I think you could wrap the chain in something like electrical tape becouse imagine if the saw jams you will cut yourself pretty bad
MOSIN NAGANT M91 (1944 MAUSER Mod.98 (1943 LEE ENFIELD No.4 MK2 (1918
The Lee Enfield has a easily cycled bolt which might be better for the awkward bullpup design.
DONT BUTCHER UP THE K98 !!!!!!! I WILL BUY IT FROM YOU !!!!!!!!!!
you should do a reveiw on the f1 firearms ar15 old glory addition I just bought it and it seems like something you would like
the Mosin Nagant I would love to see one chopped all to hell. Oh that is the first time I ever seen a chain or cable type "survival" that really worked, most of the time those things use some kind of thin cable that does not cut through shit.
try and make an automatic saw mill sort of thing like self feeding even better if you could make it like wind or water powered! :) also great video again! :)
One hell of a garrote you have created...take a head off, quickly...
Oh man. . . don't cut up the Moist Nugget! You're makin me cry ;)
Great saw, could you make a tension frame one with the same blade? It would be interesting to see how well or bad it performs.
I wouid think that the slick action of the K98 would lend itself to a bullpup format well!
If you split the saw chain in the middle and reverse one half it will cut in both directions which is much better esspecially if you want to use with two people...
I didn't think Stihl saws ever wore out. I have three of them. Great idea when you run out of fuel.
Saw concept is sound. Good work, thanks. Jeff
I feel really sorry for whats going to happen to these rifles.....
make a full armor suit step by step. like one video: helmet another legs etc!!
I'd also grind off the teeth that sit between your fingers, maybe even two teeth on each side for good measure.
a bike chain works really good for anything not tougher than a thin piece of wood
I have a ar pistol grip and a cheek riser on my mosin 9130
I have been wondering if a chainsaw could be used like that, now i know
All! any how I'd pick the Mosin.
The Lee Enfield is too good & you only have 2. Choose the Mosin Nagant
Mosing Nagant, the less collectible you can ruin it.
Mosin for sure. Great videos guys thanks again
Hard choice but mosin takes it for me! Can't wait to see it!

Mosin theres so much surplus ammo .
i vote for the mosin becouse its cheap and easy to get
The Mauser is the obvious choice.
Mosin for first test run and learning curves
The zombie dinner bell, Lee Enfield.
Use the Mosin they are a dime a dozen.
put the motor on a bike haha easier to carry your gear.
Great video (as usual). Good to see you lads busy!

LEE ENFIELD No.4 MK2 (1918)
